Three Tips for Planning a Family Night That Everyone Can Enjoy

One of the most important things that you can do to make your family stronger is to spend quality time together. However, when your family includes a number of people who are different ages and have different interests, hobbies, and schedules, it can be very hard to plan a time that you can all spend together and have fun. Don’t give up on the idea, however. Instead, keep these tips in mind as you plan your family night together.

1. Consider the Age of Your Family Members

When you pick a place to go together, make sure that there will things that are fun to do for everyone in your family, not just the adults. At the same time, don’t make the older members of your family bored by going to a place that’s only enjoyable for little kids. Try to find a compromise, such as a family restaurant and pub where everyone can find something to eat. For example, if you’re looking for bars in La Grange IL, consider a family-friendly place like Kenny’s Pub. This way everyone can relax and find something to eat and enjoy.

2. Work Together as a Team

One of the best ways to bring people together is to give them an activity that they can work on together. For example, get a puzzle that you can all do together. Board games are also fun, as long as they are the right type of game for the ages of your family members. Look for team building exercises online that are usually used for coworkers and adapt them for your family. You’ll have fun together when you’re trying to solve the problem and get closer at the same time.

3. Explore Nature Together

Get outside for your own health and improve the health and happiness of your family at the same time. Whether you go out for a simple walk, a more strenuous hike, or for a different outdoor activity, such as swimming, boating, climbing, or simply exploring, your family will be having a blast. Studies show that spending time outside can make you happier and healthier so extend that to your whole family by planning activities to do together in the great outdoors. One fun activity to consider is geocaching, which can make time spend outside into a sort of game you’ll love.

Sleeping Together

I always love taking pictures of my youngest daughter and her Daddy while they are sleeping. They look both so cute while they are sleeping, and I can’t help taking a pictures of them.

This was taken like 5 years ago, Daddy is taking a nap and Faith joined her and was deep asleep. I guess they both enjoy their laland at this moment while I enjoyed myself taking picture of them.

All Our Packs We Are Ready To Go

All our bags, we are ready to go…

The Red Knight just called me what time could we check in, I told them it would probably at 6:00 p.m. since Mj would arrive at 5:30 p.m. Mariel is the one who helped me packed all the stuffs that we will be using at the hotel, including the grocery that we bought earlier. Faith was so happy that we will be going away from home this weekend. Everyone is so excited for the short getaway.

We arrived at about 8:00 p.m. we unpacked our grocery right away. Mariel was the one preparing for our dinner; Faith keeps on running back and forth and would always say this home is very pretty. There’s only one thing she was sad about, it was her Penguin because I forgot to bring it at the hotel. My husband was online for a bit, he chatted Faith for a while and greeted all of us. He even asked how was the hotel and everyone smiled. He went off right away as he was already called for an appointment.

The Four Girls At Home Still Had A Blast

I didn’t expect that we are going to celebrate our New Year with a blast because of course it was only me, my niece and 2 daughters who are going to face the New Year, but I was wrong because we enjoyed it so much that we didn’t notice the time! It was already nearly 6:00 in the morning when we finally finished singing. I guess the neighbors were already irritated with our music and voice but they can’t do anything about it, we are celebrating New Year and we should make noise to get rid of the bad luck. LOL

My sister Irenei went here though to give Faith her gift. We also shared some foods for Medya Noche, and so our table was full of foods. They also have to go home to welcome 2013 at their house. I am so thankful that my decision was right to get a Mega Vision for the house so at least we have something to get busy and enjoy with while we are welcoming New Year. And so even though we were only 4 to celebrate New Year, the 4 girls at home still had a blast!
