Three Tips for Planning a Family Night That Everyone Can Enjoy

One of the most important things that you can do to make your family stronger is to spend quality time together. However, when your family includes a number of people who are different ages and have different interests, hobbies, and schedules, it can be very hard to plan a time that you can all spend together and have fun. Don’t give up on the idea, however. Instead, keep these tips in mind as you plan your family night together.

1. Consider the Age of Your Family Members

When you pick a place to go together, make sure that there will things that are fun to do for everyone in your family, not just the adults. At the same time, don’t make the older members of your family bored by going to a place that’s only enjoyable for little kids. Try to find a compromise, such as a family restaurant and pub where everyone can find something to eat. For example, if you’re looking for bars in La Grange IL, consider a family-friendly place like Kenny’s Pub. This way everyone can relax and find something to eat and enjoy.

2. Work Together as a Team

One of the best ways to bring people together is to give them an activity that they can work on together. For example, get a puzzle that you can all do together. Board games are also fun, as long as they are the right type of game for the ages of your family members. Look for team building exercises online that are usually used for coworkers and adapt them for your family. You’ll have fun together when you’re trying to solve the problem and get closer at the same time.

3. Explore Nature Together

Get outside for your own health and improve the health and happiness of your family at the same time. Whether you go out for a simple walk, a more strenuous hike, or for a different outdoor activity, such as swimming, boating, climbing, or simply exploring, your family will be having a blast. Studies show that spending time outside can make you happier and healthier so extend that to your whole family by planning activities to do together in the great outdoors. One fun activity to consider is geocaching, which can make time spend outside into a sort of game you’ll love.

My First Jump Suit and The New Wedge

I supposed not to buy a Jump Short last month, what I was planning is  to buy a long jeans but my youngest daughter spilled some water on my jeans  when we rode a Jeepney going to Mj’s school to pay her tuition fee. Faith was holding bottled water, when she accidentally spilled half of it. The front of my jeans got wet that I needed to change right away. We went to the mall right away, good thing that the Jump Short was on sale, so I only bought this for only P 405. 00. And besides this is actually my first Jump Suit.

The wedge sandal was only recently. The wedge that I had been using for one whole year is going to give up any sooner, I don’t want to wait for it to loose while I am using it or walking down the street, I’m telling you I’d been there and it was so hard to walk properly when you know your shoes is not holding still already and the mall is too far away yet.

I had been looking for a new wedge for a week now, and I just can’t find that is at least below P 500. 00. But what I like this wedge is that it is not heavy, you almost feel that you are wearing nothing while using it. What I don’t like is the color because it is white and it gets easy to get marks. But I couldn’t do anything about it because there was no color to choose only that, so I just have to stick to what it is in the picture. I will just to pray not to rain while wearing it.

Thank GOD, This Blog Is Up

I was so anxious already; it has been more than a week that I could not see my blog. You may say that it is just a blog; I can let it go in just a snap of my finger, well not for me because this blog has been with me for a decade. You see, I started this blog way back in 2008 and everything is here. This is actually my 2nd baby and I could not just let it go.

Last night, the new host provider messaged me with log ins of my 2 blogs, this blog Mary Anne’s Musings and My Little Home, I woke up right away to check. Yes it was up! Finally! I know I could not get the lay out back for this blog, I was not able to back up any copy and this is the only blog that I wasn’t able to get the copy of my theme. So this morning, I scanned some free layout in wordpress and found this. Actually I got this lay out from my niece. It is simple, just so simple. It doesn’t matter at all, as long I can see them live!
