Two Weird Dreams

I just had some weird dreams just this week. First was somebody gave us an ice cream full of varieties of flavors. We do love ice cream and since we can't finish the whole container, we put it in the fridge but then the person who gave us that ice cream, she gave us again another batch and she said we have to finish it all in an instant because it will just go wasted. So we tried, there's a durian flavor, mango, buko salad and a lot more, I think there were 8 flavors in one container. I was in awe, and then I woke up. 

Just the other night, I dream of a big house, that house was not even familiar. It was a 2 story house, when I went inside I saw my sister who is in Singapore to work now. She told me that we just move in to that house, I said I was just gone for an hour and we already move out from the house that I rented, she said she immediately transferred all the things because that big house is for free. It has been years that no one lives there and the owner said that we could occupy the house for free. Thus, I was like okay, I roam around the house, then one of my sisters approach me that they just had a business and she earned like P3, 600.00 for one day. I went to the kitchen; I saw some old people playing the tong its, 3 old people were sitting on the other table trying to win each of their game cards. And on the other table, there were 4 old people playing the same thing. There's an old lady there who also played the game card who keeps on talking to me that I should not be worried because there were many neighbors I could talk to or ask for help if I need some. Beside that old lady, there's a toilet bowl, I feel like to pee so I peed there with those four old people around. Weird isn't it? I will have to give you the meaning on my other blog. 

The Latter Stages of our Life

Sometimes I think life is a circle. When we are still babies we need somebody to take care of us and keep us clean. As we age we are able to take care of ourselves better. We have better control of our bodies and its functions. As we start getting older and our hair greys, we start having some other problems. Urinary problems are not all that uncommon. So as we wore diapers as a baby, we may need urinary incontinence products as we enter the latter stages of our life. I hope I don’t need to wear an adult diaper, but I guess if it comes to the point where I need it I will.

Pain in the Butt

I didn't know that to join the DCAA meet is a pain in the butt not the competition but the school. It was early August that I'd been asking and inquiring about the requirements so on and so forth. They keep on telling me that they will give me updates but it is already at the last week of September yet the school doesn't seem to care at all. They just want recognition but when there's a need for them to at least provide some information about the requirements, they just don't comply it or even help the parents for the forms. 

This afternoon, I was so pissed off with their response when I ask them of the entry forms and the requirements, they just told me that they are not concentrating on our event but in another event. I flared up and answered her sarcastically. I mean, come on, every kids has potential so even if she got awards or not with the previous competitions they attended to, they should support them because they exerted their effort and they prepared for this event. Why can't they see that? They just let the parents took the responsibility while they should be the one to provide all the necessary information. 

Now with my co-parent when they asked to pay some fees to be a member in a unit, the school suddenly told my friend that they will not pay for it because the school does not have funds for the said event. What happen to our sports or miscellaneous fees, are they just directed to each pocket of those who were at the position? Those funds supposed to be spending for any sports that the students are joining, so if there's a need to pay to be included in a unit so the kid can participate, the school should shoulder the expenses.

Two Gifts on Wedding Anniversary

I got two gifts I received on my wedding anniversary from my two friends. One is a frame and the other one, which I just received on Thursday, is a product from Victoria Secrets and a T-shirt. These two friends never ceased of giving me surprises, I really don't mind receiving gifts. I even told them not to bother because their presence on my wedding anniversary and celebrated with me on that day was more than enough. Although my husband was not there, I have these friends who's always there for me through good and bad times. I am always thankful that I have surrounded by good friends in my life right now. I miss my friends who are already living abroad but GOD is so good because he let me meet good friends when my life started to be dull and boring.

Thanks PHIC!

If it was not because of my insurance in Phil Health, I could have paid the whole amount of P9, 000 plus of the Mj's bill in the hospital. I have decided to continue my contribution in Phil Health after a few months of my resignation at the call center. It was proven that in terms of hospitalization, this insurance could really helped me a lot, the first time was that when My was diagnosed of Dengue. But because I am a member of the Phil Health insurance, we just paid the half of the bill and yesterday I was still able to use it even though I am not connected to any company anymore. I voluntarily paid my contribution for emergency purposes. I immediately got all the requirements needed so I can use my insurance upon checked out and I was not wrong to gather it all on Friday because the Doctor approved us for check out on Saturday and during Saturdays, PHIC is not open.

The bill was almost P10, 000, the deduction for PHIC members, is P5, 000.00. I just paid P4, 369.80. So if you don't have the PHIC insurance you should not think twice to be a member, because it does really help us.

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time there was a girl who liked gadgets, she wanted to have one that she could listen to music and play games all but just touching the screen. Well that girl is me. I would like a devise where I can listen to music, play games and take and show my photos. An ipod nano touch is just such a device. Just by touching the screen I can access any function on it. I like the idea of a touch screen. One thing I will have to do is keep it away from my youngest. She really likes to play touch them and she will even pretend to play, but she is a bit rough with it. Well I am looking forward to trying out a touch screen device to check out the ease of use.

A Little Celebration

After I treat my friends in a restaurant here in the celebration of our wedding anniversary, I brought the kids a home made cake of my friend Ethel and an ice cream. One of my sister's friends came by here too, so they were able to have a taste of our little celebration at home. My sister Irenie and her family had dinner with us as well.

Complete

My day is complete because I was able to go to church today with my sister, her son, my kids and my niece Mariel. I have to thank my sister because she keeps on calling me and asked me to get ready for church, I also have to practice driving going to church, thank GOD we get home safe after the church. 

Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and I thank GOD for 2 years of being married and I am counting for more, my husband has been very good to me although there are times I would argue with him during chat for some reason, he would just listen and would understand me most of the time. But lately he has been calling me the Ms. Worrier even the people from the IM has tag me that. LOL

Planning For A Getaway

This is what I like being at the club, we were able to go some places during competition. Just yesterday, we learned that there will be a competition on December in Manila and we are planning to go there. We are just waiting for a confirmation of the venue, but if not my friend and I are planning to book for Singapore. Actually, she supposed to book our flight last month because she has learned that there will be a discount rate in Cebu Pacific back and forth, but when she tried to make a reservation, the flight going back home has already been taken and it was replaced with very expensive booking fee. So she stopped and said we will just wait for another discount rate online. So we are hoping if we can't make it in Manila, we probably we shall going to book for Singapore.

Ms. Universe 2011

I am not really into watching beauty contest, because of the thrills and the shout outs in FB. I have convinced myself to watch just like the Ms. Universe from last year and this year. Yet, while watching the Ms. Universe, I can't help to go back to my computer and read some updates from friends shout outs in Facebook so even though we were 30 minutes late here, I already knew that Ms. Philippines was included in top 16, then top 10, and top 5. I was disappointed that Shamcey was not able to get the crown, but even so, I am still so proud of her achievements. She definitely nailed it especially during the Q and A portion, she was the only one who doesn't need an interpreter and she answered it straight. Congratulations Shamcey, for us you are our Ms. Universe.

For My Swimmer

Our eldest daughter is a swimmer. When she was in the Novice competition she did very well in both the swim meets she was entered. Well I am proud of her efforts and I have done my best to capture them on film. One thing I think would be nice to do is get some underwater video of her swimming. One way to do this would be for me to wear some 3.1MP goggles (3.1 megapixel digital camera build in) to capture her as she swam underwater. This would be great for me so see her from and under water aspect or even for to show the video to her coach to help evaluate her technique. What do you think? Is this a good idea?

Have you noticed it?

Even I am just here at home in the kitchen actually, I am sweating so badly. This time I need some ice for me to take a bath, it would be nice to subside the uncomfortable feeling. The heat of the sun drains my energy. It gets very humid too even it rains last night. Yet, we did not use the aircon, Mj doesn't like it, she said it would always makes her feel sick. But if it will be like this every night, I think we will have to turn the A/C on and will turn it off after the room gets cool enough.

I Shall Return

Everyone knows that I am getting so busy everyday, from my kids to home and some stuff. So I guess I have to give myself a break from Meme. It is not that I don't enjoy it of course; I enjoyed every bit of it. But things have change and there are times that I can't do the post anymore so I hope you all understand. One month or two, I am not sure that this blog will have no meme posts. I would still update all my blogs from time to time though and I am certain I would miss doing all the memes but when I am ready I am sure to go back, that's why I will still have the badges for the meme on my sidebar because I shall return and will do it again.

Nostalgia # 21: Our Bundle of Joy

This photo was of my baby now toddler, she used to be tamed in my tummy when I was yet pregnant with her, she doesn't move all the time especially at work. But every time I got a phone call expect her to move fast, like swimming as she could.

She got a loud cry then when she went out to see the world!

Wednesday White # 1 Bleaching Mixed

 

I am sorry for posting this late, I tried to post it last night but my heart is so heavy. I could not even think what to write. All I thought was the movie that I watched, I got emotional and I burst into tears and mind you I cried a river for the whole movie. By the way, the picture above is a bleaching mixed for the skin, and this is what I am busy for nowadays. My friend convinced me to apply it on my skin, it is not only for a lighter skin but it can also make your skin smooth and soft. LOL

Speechless

This is what my problem when it regards to collect money for the funds of our club; I always get goosebumps for asking some of the parents to pay. I mean I don't have problem with my closest friends because they will just pay without me asking them. I mean oh well I could ask them anytime because I am already used to them but with some of the parents, I am speechless and I don't know how to make an intro to ask them of their dues. Sigh!

$65.00

I only need the $65.00 to be deposited in my paypal and my dream to have my Dad transferred to another memorial park will be realized. I mean the money is already there and it is just need to be deposited, and that's it. My Dad will have then a proper place to stay for as soon as I could pay the intermittent fee and my promise will be through. The only lacking though is my Mom to be placed beside him. Maybe not this year but soon, I will still save money for that. I'll just take it one at a time, so I don't feel rush. 

Camera Critters # 3: Starfish

When we had a getaway at the beach last week, the kids were hunting for starfish and these are the ones they got. Actually they collected 15 of them, one of their teammates adore animals and so are the kids were persuaded to look for some starfishes.

Affordable Room Rates

I just went to Pinnacle Hotel; actually I did not plan to go there because I have to go to SSS to pay my contributions, but darn I was late again so instead of wasting my time going there, I dropped by at the Pinnacle Hotel instead. 

 The hotel was huge, it is even bigger than of Apo View Hotel and yet their hotel room’s rate is only 2,500 for the standard and for the twin it is 2,800.00. Actually, there are in promo right now, so I guess my kids and I will stay there for 2 days on my wedding anniversary. I guess my husband could not again be with us; it has been 2 years since we did not see each other. I know we can chat everyday and we can talk over the phone twice in a day, but for me it is not enough. We still need him here; I still need a husband who is always around me. Oh well, for now I can't do anything to that but to wait. I wonder how long should I wait.

 I am still contemplating of where could I celebrate it, of course I'll be having some friends with me on that day. Have a nice dinner perhaps, I have to budget the meal yet though.

It Is Never Be Better

When you did something that makes someone got hurt and you wanted to make up with him or her, would you ever tell him or her, it is better late than never. For me I guess even you wanted to straighten out the things between the two of you. The pains that once he or she had felt were already there and no matter what you do the scarce will be left to remind him or her of what you did. So even so the quote is saying it is better late than never, I guess it will never be better. 

During Snow

My husband's place gets overly snowed that sometimes he could not even go out because his tires would slipped on the road and that can cause road accidents. I am not sure if my husband knows about snow chains for trucks or snow chains for his van but I would tell him the moment he will have his Internet connection, somebody has told me about it and I guess he could go to the snowy road with nothing to worry about. The snow season will be there up soon so I guess this thing could help him somehow. I can't bear to hear or to see him frustrated anymore; he had enough during storm Irene because until now he still doesn't have electricity. I hope everything will be well and I hope it is not expensive to have his roof repaired.

Nostalgia # 20: The Ring

This was the engagement ring I was wearing on the first day that my husband and I met. He gave it to me on our way to the hotel from the airport. I could never believe I actually wearing a diamond ring at that time. I just have seen in the webcam when he showed it to me on December and I could never contain my happiness when he slipped it in my finger.

Admiring Their Uniforms

When I was still pregnant with my youngest, I oftentimes go to my ob-gyne for my monthly check-up and thus I always see nurses or doctors wearing their hospital scrubs. I always admire them wearing their colorful uniforms, I always love blue color, second is pink. I always dream of one of my kids wearing those uniforms someday. My eldest has a desire to become a Medical Doctor or Nurse but let's see if her dreams would change when she grows up, I hope not though. For Faith, it is yet so early to tell what would she want for a career but since she loves computer so much, maybe a programmer analyst would do for her just like her Dad. On the other hand, let me just enjoy seeing nurses wearing their cute and colorful uniforms whenever we go to my kids pediatrician for their vaccination.
