Lunch at Woodridge with Friends

These are the parents from the pool, the ever gorgeous hot mommas and that includes me, hehehe.

This was taken at the Woodridge, one swimmer just celebrated her birthday and so her Mom throws a lunch for us and the team mates. I was so full that day and so was my daughter, I thank Mommy Ethel for the treat.

Badly Needed That Space

It was such a looong day today, I went to the car shop to return the headlight of my car and exchange it with the right one. Then I supposed to go to the dentist but I was running out of time to meet my sister who was already waiting for me at the mall. So I called my dentist and postponed my appointment, I went to the mall to meet my sister to talk about our contributions for my Dad's memorial, we are going to transfer his remains to a private memorial park since the one that he had was already demolished. We were trying to reach out with the person who is going to sell her loan at that memorial park that we prospected but we just ended up going to the cemetery and checked the loan that she is selling, the place is quiet good, it is near at the river and what is best for it was it is just a block away where my uncle and auntie were buried. It was indeed a plus factor for us, so we went ahead to meet the owner, she would like to sell that because she would like to apply for another one near at the mall, I don't know what made her decide to sell the loan that she applied before, maybe she would like to make a peep at the mall when she rested or go shopping whenever she wants to, does ghost really roam around?

Anyway, it is none of our business to find out, we are most concerned how much would she sell that to us, we already have the money and we are hoping she would charge us not that much. As we really badly needed that space for my Dad and thus we can transfer him immediately.

Nostalgia # 15: The Past

When someone has hurt you deeply, are you really willing to forgive that person? They said that the time can heal the wounds that someone had caused you but I guess the scarce remains, and that marks would eventually reminds you of that pain and you can't just forget. The MTV itself doesn't make any sense at all, in the end part; the girl chooses to be with the guy who has hurt her.

I am not sure with you guys, you must disagree with me but that's what it applies to me, how about you, how would you narrate the lyrics and the MTV itself?

What a Life!

I am again here using my mini laptop my other laptop tends to be slow. I have it defrag already, it still the same, the google chrome seems not working at all. I guess I have to force myself to be comfortable with Mozilla Firefox as of the moment until I figure out what happen to my computer.

Oh my god! What a way when life just joke at you like that, I was just complaining my other computer a while ago and now I think my charger for my mini laptop is not working anymore, I have to send it to computer shop immediately, yet what hinders me is I don't have the budget yet. Life is just so hard sometimes.

Just Beautiful : Persian Cat

My friend was the one who captured this hairy cute Persian cat, she is indeed look so beautiful, she seems like posing for the camera yet little did we know, the flash will terrifies her. So my friend carried her and comforts her immediately.

Neat and Tidy

I always taught my eldest daughter to obey me, and to help me especially during Sundays. And I hate it when she just opens her eyes and after like a couple of minutes she would turn the TV on to watch her favorite shows. I mean, hello! I only have two hands and two legs; I need somebody to help me do the chores. Sister Merlyn is not here since it's Sunday, I asked her to arrange our DVD's in the cabinet but she was like murmuring of something and I just hate it, I could not just let it passed by, so I confront her and told her I was not happy with her attitude. We had arguments, we fought, and I feel like I was totally doomed. It is always like this every time we argue, I get so tired and I feel helpless. I just could not understand why she can't arrange the DVD's while it is the only one I asked her to do, oh well besides her bedroom that it has been like there's always a war going on because of the things she just scattered on the floor and on the bed. Books, dirty clothes, swim materials, bags and the like. I know she's only 10 years old, but she needs to learn to be neat and tidy, and she has to begin right now.

Don't Know What To Do, Really!

There are times, oh well actually always when I thought I got so many things to do yet I have to divide my time to do all the things I wanna do. Are you getting that? Not me, well, anyway, yeah just like a while ago, I know I want to watch a movie but I ended up plugging the magic sing, and started singing out loud. I hope I did not disturb my neighbor, they might be wondering where's that cow came from?

I felt bored suddenly but then my youngest came to join me, so I feel like teasing her, I did not give her the mic, silly mom! But then since my sister have to use the rice cooker, I have to end my concert right away because she need to plug it in the extension the one I am using for magic jack.

I know I wanted to watch the Roswell season 2 but there's one DVD I bought last week that I haven't watch yet, I have to watch that first otherwise it will be another DVD that I will be just stocking up inside the cabinet if ever I would miss this day to watch it. It is like I really have to see it or never see it at all, as if there is somebody who will stop me to do that except myself. After watching, I am so ready to watch the Roswell again but my daughter here switch the channel to Disney Channel and the High school musical is on it. I am actually tired, I feel like this is not the best time to watch Roswell, I need to sleep early because until now my tooth is still aching, one blog to go and I am ready to rest at least.

Nostalgia # 14 : Roswell

I just feel so devastated right now, I thought I have done I need to do before I shut off the computer to sleep. Now, this morning I found out I did not post my entry for

Geez, how could I forget that while I already have in mind what to post here? Anyway, on that note, you know how I am hooked up with Roswell nowadays; my husband gave the tape to me 3 years ago. He gave the season one then.

At first, I didn't like to watch it, as I've seen the package and it was for teens. But then my husband was so persistent, he would even start pressing the pause button whenever I am not watching, like if I was doing something in the kitchen. One day my niece Mariel watched the series with us, she was starting to hooked up with it too, then my husband would press the pause button for a while because I was attending Faith, he told her we should wait for your Aunt so she could watch it too. So since they were already hooked up, I tried to concentrate watching it and yeah, I can't get enough with Season 1 I have to go through so my husband bought me the Season 2 and Season 3, the final episode. This is really even better than of the vampires out there, ya know? So I guess aliens are great. They should make a film on this one with the same actors, this is really great. However this may not come true if we won't sign a petition here.

That was three years ago, and I didn't expect that when I was browsing the you tube and saw the pilot episode, I got hooked with it again. And I am planning to finish the whole of it, now I am ready to watch the season 2.

My Tummy Aches

Started this morning, my tummy aches on and off, I thought it will just pass by but later this afternoon, it gets worst after I ate a bihon noodles. I guess that was called karma because I have told the kids not to eat anything since they have to go back to the pool yet, there was lightning so they were told to get up from the pool. After a while, their coach asked them to go back for their training, good thing the rain subsides and the lightning stops.

Does He Smoke?

My husband has a friend who loves to smoke premium cigars. We even gave him a box of cigars from here the Philippines and he really like them, but he really likes Central American and Caribbean cigars. Those areas are famous for their cigar products and brands such as arturo fuente cigars are ones he really likes. My husband has smoked an occasional cigar with his friend but I don’t like kissing him if he does. No, I am just kidding, he never smoke or at least I never saw him even once; he doesn’t even like the taste of a beer. But anyway, what do you think?

I am watching Roswell right now again and I am already in episode 5 actually, I already watched this before but I suddenly Max and Liz team up and the alien thing.

Anyway, back to my entry for:

This was the second station of the zipline that we went to last week, I got scared just looking at it, and I thought I could not do it but I did at least, even my eyes were closed the whole time I was there. LOL

Maybe if only I have my eyes open the whole time, I might had seen the beauty of the cliff, the river below us, the and tress all over around us.

I Can Tell

You would really know when a person is telling lies or not because when they are telling the truth, you would feel something that is so different, you will be touch and somehow you wish that you can help more, not only with prayers but also at least give the person some help.

We took a taxi cab this afternoon to get home, I was with my kids and Faith keep on telling me that she needs to throw out the candy wrapper in the window, I told her she can't because somebody might get mad of her if she does that. So we need to find a trash can for her candy wrapper, she asked where's the trash can mama? The taxi driver noticed it, and amazed of Faith speaking in English. He asked me how old is she; I told him she is only 3 years old.

Later, he told me that his son was sent to the hospital this morning, it has been 5 days that he got a fever but it was only today he was able to send him for a check up. He only got a job now because the taxi that he used to drive before was in the repair shop for overhaul; the taxi was included in the flood that happens here recently. So he went to look for another job, good thing that when he tried yesterday, there was one available unit for him so he hurriedly drive for it and luckily he got 500 pesos for him to send his son to the doctor. The doctor then told him, the kid needs to be admitted in the hospital for dengue fever. He only got 14 numbers of platelets and when he and his wife sent him to a government hospital, it became 11. He could not even buy a Durian for his kid, a Durian is a fruit known to boost up the platelet and it is too pricey nowadays because it is not the season for it yet. He was able to find two persons for blood donations yet he needs to pay a certain amount for the hospital to push through the blood transfusion.

I am a kind of person who doesn't believe easily but when he told me about his son and the dengue fever, I was totally moved. I know the feeling when your kids are sick, you could not even sleep because you want them to be well before you can rest. I know that I only gave him a little but I hope that helps him to buy his son some medicines or durian. The bill was only 120.00 pesos and I gave him 200.00, I know, I know that it was nothing but as soon as he receives that, he drove fast back to the hospital, I pray for his son recovery. And I hope he can get a lot of passengers now so he can pay that amount for blood transfusion.

Human Reactions

This morning, my friend from the club house asked me to videotape her inside a tennis court while there was a lot of people around. Good thing, we asked permission from the attendant because we were worried of the come up while she is doing that inside the court. My friend is taking IT and the one she will be doing is for her Ethics subject, she had to see what will be the reaction of the people around her, while she is brushing her teeth in front of many people.

And even I was only videotaping her, I feel so scared knowing that the place is crowded with elite people. Here's the video that I took.

Nostalgia # 13: Machiato

I am tired, I feel like I am floating, it is because I drank the other cup of coffee from last night and this morning I drank another cup of coffee. I am palpitating and I know this is not good. OUCH!

Just Beautiful : Pond

This picture was taken in Malagos when we went there for a visit, it was the birthday of my friend's mother and they invited me and the kids. We were able to enjoy the moment and the foods they brought. I am not sure if this is a pond or a small lake, you may guess, lol.

Our Health Matters

Last night at the clubhouse, my friend invited me to join her walking exercise. I was so tempted to go with her, if only I just brought a rubber shoes with me, I could have enjoyed the breeze of the air inside the subdivision while walking. Aside from her walking exercise, she is also drinking a diet coffee for her really to slim down; and now she is thinking to take fat burners I just hope she really read the contents or consult anyone who is reliable enough with those things, so as she slim down, she will not worry of the side effects anymore. It is important to know what we are taking because our health matters most of all.

Thankful

I am so happy that I have given few task to do last night, I have seen it in the morning though but we were in a hurry to go out in the house since we are already getting late from my eldest daughter's training. Faith was still asleep so my sister hurriedly took out all the dirty clothes to start her laundry. When we arrived home yesterday afternoon, I am starting to do the task one by one and finished it late last night, I never had the chance to watch that drama series my eldest daughter is watching, she keeps on calling me and said she wanna be like that but not the end part because the man had a cancer and his leg must be cut out, he won a lot in biking and went to a lot of different countries to compete, but he encountered an accident in Malaysia, when he went back in the Philippines he suddenly complaining something on her leg, the doctor advised him for operation on his leg and that they needed to cut it out. Of course he was devastated to know it, yet at the end as he tried his best recover even without the leg, there's one thing he had learned, with or without legs, life must go on. Take note I didn't watch this one but hear the story from my bedroom plus Mj keeps on explaining to me what happen so I was able to make this post.

Moreover, I am so thankful that my favorite paid site did not forgot all about me when they pour a lot of rains yesterday, thank you so much. Now, I'll be able to help my husband in our next bills.

Delightful

We went out from the club house where our kids training was held, we go to the mall so we could withdraw some money because we decided to have lunch at the clubhouse. When we were at the mall, my friend invited me to eat some siomai, when I ate siomai, I always ordered the pork and shrimp, my friend told me to try the Japanese Siomai as it has a different delectable taste, it is spicy but you would still crave for more. Oh well, I ordered twice so that's 8 pieces all in all, my friend finished like 12 pieces of it minus one because she gave me one and the other one that was unintentionally dropped in the floor, too late when we tried to catch it up because it can no longer be saved.

GPS For His Motorcycle

My husband tells me there are several of his co-workers that ride motorcycles to and from work and for leisure. Recently one of his colleagues took a road trip to Maine on his motorcycle. He mentioned how much easier it would have been if you would have had a GPS for his motorcycle. He was asking if anybody knew where to buy motorcycle gps at the source. Well, I am sure that one of his other coworkers might know. It seems that a lot of the conversation at the Friday breakfasts he attends is about motorcycles, where to buy items for them and nice places to go and motorcycle rallies.

We Are Soaring

It is so nice to see that our club is now progressing, we have many members now. So to those who criticized us, watch out because we are going to soar.

Last summer, as the kids were on training for their competition in Milo, we talked about putting a club of our own. But of course there are many things we have to consider so we can't just pursue that. What matters for us at that time, is to join the competition that we had prepared a year ago, so even if we travel like two hours just for the kids to train, we sacrificed for it. It was just when we went to the venue where the competition was held, there were some people who are so selfish who can't just let us go. And the people whom I thought was our friends support the false accusation. They know so well what kind of person we were dealing last year, and now it seems like everything just turn so upside down. Anyway, well, karma goes around, comes around because look who was some sort of "blocked" right now? So I gave you my real hard laugh, hahahahaha!!!!!

Lacking Vitality

Sometimes I do not have a lot of energy. The kids keep me busy. Running a house and having two active daughters can really wear me out. I do my best to take care of them and meet their needs, but there are times that I just lack the vitality to do so. I don’t think there is a medical problem, I think it is just a problem of not seeming to have enough time to do all the things I need to and to do some things I want. I need a check-up with the doctor, I have been putting it off, but I know I need to make an appointment and go. Maybe I need to see somebody like a Thyroid doctor austin, or just get a regular checkup to see what it would take for me to feel more energetic and get my get up and go back. I am doing my best for the kids but at times it seems that there is not just enough time in the day to do what they want and get enough rest.

Meeting Mommy Kat

My friend Cheryl and I met at Picobello Italian Restaurant when I message Kat of Mom's Place to meet us there but unfortunately she was not able to catch us up while we were eating the pizza that we ordered. Instead, we meet at school supplies department to shop some school supplies for those kids who were affected by the flood. We are also thankful that Cheryl my friend donated some school supplies as well. So Be Careful And Be Healthy

When I looked at my pictures from last year during Christmas party from the swimming club we had joined, I was so surprised of how big I was, so I decided to tone down, I ate less. But it didn't work out on me, so I started taking some diet pills. Taking diet pills could help you slim down except if you overuse it or you did not consult your doctor for approval, it is better to ask your doctor about the diet pills you are going to take for your health to be safe. We can only have one life now if you are going to waste you could never get it back, so be careful and be healthy.

Nothing To Complain About

I am in a hurry again this time, I supposed to go to the bank yesterday but my time goes only to travel from our place to downtown, yes it is that far. When we transact in downtown due to traffic, the supposedly 30 minutes travel time, it would take 1 hour for us to get there. But I have nothing to complain about, my place is in the elevated area. Anyway, I should go for now, I am trying to upload some pictures in multiply but it suddenly get slow. I am not sure if the issue is in my Internet connection while I just paid for it yesterday.

Nostalgia # 12 : Amigo

One of my favorite subjects when I was still in college is Jose Rizal, I was able to finished reading the Jose Rizal book, and the whole content of it amazes me. I love history as well but the book was so thick and the letters were so little, so I did not finished that one, yet I learned that the ship of Magellan was first landed somewhere in Butuan and not in Cebu.

When I watched the Forever and a day of KC and Sam Milby last month, one of the trailers that the cinema showed us was the movie trailer of Amigo. It is the untold story of war between the Philippines and America, I am not sure how would you conclude the flow of the story of the movie but one thing for sure is that we somehow need to educate what happens in the past, I have nothing against them, yet I really like to watch the movie.

Many criticize the movie, it was not really deliberately hidden but for sure I guess it was not tackle during college or maybe I was absent during that time? Anyhow if you happen to be curious about the film you might want to try to watch it, but you have to watch it maturely, it is really not against them but to just learn and understand about the history of the Philippines.

Just Beautiful : Clarke's Landing Restaurant

Remember I have mentioned before about my husband's dinner with friends? Oh well, he was able to take pictures of the surroundings and these pictures above is in front of the restaurant. This is an amazing place to dine with; the beaches and the breeze from the sea would make you eat more. Do you notice that? Every time you go to the beach for a party perhaps and there are some sumptuous foods on the table, you can't just resist the temptations.

Unwind

I am glad that my husband was able to go out just before the 4th of July, he had a dinner with his friends at Clarke's Landing Restaurant, there are only few times that he will go out with his friends and I am glad he decided to at least unwind this time. He was home at 8:00 p.m., and he sends me some pictures of the foods and the place and the couple, but he doesn't have a picture of him, lol. Oh well, he is a camera shy, he will never have one for himself unless I'll be the one to take a picture of him while he's here. I love you hon!

My Today's Agenda

I just had a very busy day today, but it was all worth it. I was able to visit a friend who was affected by the flood, I am glad that she is not feeling down anymore, that's what I adore about her because no matter what happen she still have a very positive point of view about life. What's matter was that no one got hurt or injured during that incident

After I visited her, I went to the newest mall here in our place to meet up a high school friend, for so many years we haven't seen each other and last week, when I tried to search her on facebook finally I found her. So we set up a meeting and that happens today.
