Nostalgia # 11: The Aftermath

I was so happy to know that the mechanic of our car was here the other day, so I ask him if he can accompany me in downtown so I could practice. While driving, we didn't know that the road ahead of us was in commotion because of an accident, good thing we didn't go that way but we went ahead to SM then Matina, then Central Park Bangkal and home. I drove okay only then when I tried to go uphill, I was not able to stepped hard the accelerator so we went down, to get it worst, the clutch was damaged, the lining was burned. I was so disappointed I feel I am the worst driver ever, the mechanic tried to compose me that all drivers experienced the way I experienced. It was already 7:00 p.m., when we arrived home and the rain started to pour.

There were lightning and strong thunder, and the rain poured so hard. At 10:00 pm., while we were enjoying our deep sleep, we didn't know that some of the residence in Matina were already struggling to survive. I thought it was just an ordinary flood but when I saw the pictures in FB, this is what I found.

No Worries

All my lingerie was small just before I gave birth to Faith, but eventually I gained weight, I really never thought I would grow this big. I tell you, I miss the figure I had before, but I would also like to tell you that it is hard for me now to take the shape I once had. I get too worried that I would gain more weight, no more sexy tops or sexy shapes of jeans that will fit me and no more lingerie I could buy that looks exciting. I will be totally frustrated if that would happen, good thing, when I went to the mall the other day, some plus size were displayed in the department store and not only tops or jeans or dress, but also the steamy hot plus size lingerie, I so love it. So those who are hopeless to lose weight, you don’t have to worry because you could still look sexier with those sexy tops. On the other hand, I know it is also healthy if we are really watchful of our diet, I already started it and I am hoping to reach my goal in no time. There is no need to hurry; I am taking it one at a time. So sexy body, here I come!

This is from FB, I am not sure if this is true but whatever it is, this campaign should be spread so there will be no victims if this is their modus operandi to hurt somebody. It is just so depressing that they would use somebody just to victimize some innocent people who only wanted to help.

This culprit would also use some kids to rob somebody house or stores; they would let the kids get into a small hole so they would open the door for them.

I Could Not Stay Anymore Outside In The House

I went out alone to see my dentist today, I am glad that the work she had done for my teeth was not that expensive so I have still some money left for my kids, I planned to buy a jogging pants and white shirt for Faith and a rubber shoes for Mj, I supposed to buy a new wallet for me, since the one I have is already damaged but I guess that can wait, what matter is that the kids have things when they are out for school.

After my appointment to my dentist, I walk for a couple of minutes trying to figure out when would I go this time, I was thinking to text my friend but I changed my mind. Instead my feet send me where the jeepney stop is situated and went home. I just dropped by where I could buy an ice cream for my kids. Just a small treat for them for being the sweet and lovable kids I ever have!

I thought I could stay long but I just can't anymore.

Nostalgia # 10 : Belly Dancing Attire

This was my belly dancing attire, I joined a certain group on summer and they planned to join a competition for belly dancing last May. I really don't like to join but they put me on the list, since then I thought to stop going there, yet I enjoyed it so much. So I changed my mind, I continue the belly dancing workshops. On the other hand, there were some circumstances I encountered to make me stop, although I miss it but we have no choice, my schedule got too hectic. Sigh!

Never Trust

Many people were already a victim of the so called social networking just like FB, just the other day my friend told me of the news about a girl who was raped when she decided to make an eyeball to her new found friend in FB. It said that they went to a house where there were four guys who were drinking, they put a pill on her drink and so that made her unconscious. When she woke up, she was already raped.

Now, there’s news again of a woman who also died through that social network, she had a boyfriend in FB that they agreed to meet up at her boarding house, she was found stabbed and killed after that.

Do not ever trust to anyone whom you just met in FB, and if can, make it private or don't accept people whom you really don't know at all. In that way, you can avoid to be the next victim.

On Waiting Someone

I was here at home to meet the one who supposed to send the steering wheel at the upholstery, the foam is coming out so we need to take care of that but until now, and the person, whom I supposed to meet is not yet here. I had been sending him a message, yet he didn't reply. Sigh!

I really hate waiting, and I am sure you would share the same sentiments. If the person will not come, he/she should inform you ahead or would send a message over the phone so the person who was waiting will be informed, what is the use of the phone when you don't reply? If he just messaged me a while back, I could have only wait for Mj at Kumon, in that way I could have saved my fare instead.

My husband just shared this video to me this morning, since I shared him a picture of a dog that was roasted alive. He said it seems like fake, surprisingly he sent me a link of the video below:

I was just so curious about it and seriously watched the video. I even stopped adgitizing and ec dropping for a moment of two, I thought it was something then suddenly the dog peed. I could not help but laugh it so hard. Darn!

Nostalgia # 9: Manila Ocean Park

This was our picture last year at Manila Ocean Park; we were with my husband at that time. We went to Manila for his legal capacity as to have a family bonding as well.

We visited again the Manila Ocean Park after the Milo Competition on June, after 3 years, the Manila Ocean Park still have the same spark and amusement, it was still an awesome experience.

We love to experience the surround sound

I love to sing and we have a system here that lets me sing my favorite songs. The words of the songs are displayed on my television and there is always a nice video when I sing. One of the things I notice is that sometimes the sound quality is not quite what I like. I would like deeper and richer sound. This would also increase my enjoyment of my favorite television programs and movies. The subwoofer speakers will add rich towns and base to my singing and my favorite programs? Have you ever been to the theater and experienced surround sound? When the music plays or when there is action you can actually feel the vibrations? That is what I want my singing and favorite movies and television shows to sound. I am not sure I want it on when my youngest daughter sings. She is really an enthusiastic singer, but I think she prefers yelling into the microphone instead of just singing.

Just Beautiful : Parachute and a Bird

On our way to Ocean Park Manila, we noticed that there were parachutes, which were about to land. The parachutes were so colorful, we were so amazed that they were about to land in the city but of course, in an area with no public vehicles around, I was just wondering how they were able to do that.

Look at these two images, when you zoom it with larger view you could find a bird and a parachute. Just beautiful.

Plus Size

Obviously, I am getting huge that if I am pregnant right now, a plus size maternity clothing should I need, I know, even my husband told me I need to slow down. Oh well, I am trying to minimize my intake though, I am trying hard not to eat more rice or carbohydrates that's what my husband is always telling me.

If only I didn't have a hard time with Faith, I might want to get pregnant again but geez I feel like half of my body was already in a casket and half of my body was trying to survive. Anyway, that was all worth it because I have a bouncing healthy baby girl and look at her now, so jolly, so smart and of course she is love by everyone here. With my two kids and a loving husband I could not ask for more.

These Two Friends

Darn, I sleep again too late last night, trying to re arrange and re organized the Meme in the wordpress. My friend Genny just told me to minimize the pictures and the posting there so we could save a lot for disc usage, I just upgraded my hosting to a wider usage but I guess if I would post things there everyday. I might run out of disc usage again, and I can't afford to upgrade at all, I need to save!

Anyhow, I was just chatting with my husband and told him that I have a surprise for him on Father's day, he doesn't like the idea of giving him some gifts but I was persistent. Anyway, giving him some gifts are just so seldom, so since it would be his day on June 19, spending some gifts for him will not cause me any trouble.

I would like to say thank you to Genny for giving me some tips for saving and so as for Claire for the offer, I somehow could not change the shipping address to my husband so she offered me some help, she will be the one place an order with her paypal account to ship it to my husband's address, I will just pay her the amount of the item and the shipping fee.

Camera Critters # 2: Sea Lion

One of the shows we watched at Ocean Park was the show of the Sea Lion, my friend said they just done so basic, but I was so amazed of how they trained the Sea Lion maybe because I never experienced watching a shows like this. Although I was enjoying the watching the show, I was also felt pity for these creatures, they supposed to be at the ocean enjoying their freedom but here they are, in the stage to perform so they can get some foods to eat.

Delayed Flight

It was a very exhausted night, we were waiting for our friend to arrive at the airport Manila, we were actually texting her to just follow us in McDonalds nearby since the kids were already starving from the trip. When suddenly she messaged us that the plane she and her kids boarded was advised to deplane for security purposes. They didn't know that the reason was to check if there is a bomb in the plane since they just receive a call telling them of such, the flight was postponed for so many hours, there were K9 checking the baggage. Indeed they were able to find a bag with no owner, no one claimed for it. I am not sure if the bomb was already installed or dismantled yet. My friend just messaged us that they found a bag containing of a bomb, if what kind, we have no idea.

So instead they supposed to arrived around 12:00 a.m., they were told to stay at the airport in Davao, they were able to board the plane again around 2:30 a.m., and they arrive in Manila at 3:30 a.m., it was a very exhausted night for both of her and the kids, yet when they arrive in the apartment we rented, when the kids saw one another, they suddenly felt so alive. They did not even sleep they just played with them right away.

Nostalgia # 8 : Swimming Journey of my Daughter

Sorry guys, I was not able to participate the nostalgia meme last week, we were so busy preparing for my daughter's competition on June 04, 2011 in Manila. The competition was so successful; I was so stunned that Mj broke her time. She was always the first one to finish; she really did a good job. It seems like it was just yesterday that she just deep herself in the pool, enjoying the wave yet doesn't know how to swim. Now she was one of the fastest swimmers who join the MILO Novice competition last week, if only there is no issue with the previous club, she should be the MVP of the year, but we were told to sacrifice in the assurance over something, which I can't reveal it now. The organizer of Milo and the organizer of a certain organization will be going to take good care of it. I am so proud of you Mj! In the eyes of the people in ULTRA and in the eyes of GOD you are the official MVP of the year.

Unsightly Zits

I just go back from Manila where my eldest daughter participated in her first ever swimming competition. It just seems that not so long ago she did not know how to swim. Now she is one of the top novices here. This got me to thinking that as she becomes a teen she will have to start dealing with teenage problems like acne.

I know kids and even adults are embarrassed by unsightly zits. When I was in high school, some of my classmates were teased when they had them. Where can I find a good treatment for acne for my soon to be teenager? Reading about nanocleanse reviews and other products, doing my research to find what is the best acne treatment for my daughter and just letting her know that keeping her face clean can help reduce the instances of pimples. And when she does get one, I know I can provide her with the best options for getting rid of them and keeping her skin looking clean and fresh.

Water Wednesday # 23: Pool in Apo View Hotel

This is the pool from Apo View, it looks quite, 25 meters long but it is not. I told my colleagues in swimming that it could be but when we check it out, it is not. We didn't have that much 25 meters long swimming pool here in our place, if I could win a lotto maybe I will put up a clubhouse with a 50 meters long, it would be a great business here since swimming clubs are kicking in nowadays.
