They Deserve More

It is so hard when you know that your partner sees someone else. It affects whole of your being and the life of the kids. To worsen the scenario is that you can't do anything with it but would you just leave it as it is? And just ignore the whole truth, what if the kids knew it already, what would you do?

Wife should deserve the full respect of the husband not only supporting her with family financial matters. They are not just your helper at home whom you could just ask to do the house chores or a baby sitter for your kids. They deserve care and love; recognize her of what she has done in the family. They should not be hurt mentally and physically, especially the kids because more than anyone else, the kids are the one who are mostly affected.

I just hope he would change and would at least have sympathy for his daughter. If he didn't love his wife anymore at least he must have a little respect for her.

I am glad my husband is not like him though.

Oh no! Not this time yet Chan

When I open my FB this morning this is what I got.

Jackie Chan is dead from the hearth attack
I almost fell from my chair; the first thing I thought was to cry hard. I even click the link where the news came from.

Click it to enlarge

My husband could not believe about it, he said it was not in the CNN news. So he searched it over here in the Internet and this is what he got.

Jackie Chan Dead? Not so Fast
Here is the link of the news, and the cover. I did not link the other one because it was a hoaxed, gosh it almost got me. Thank GOD my idol is still alive and still could make thousands of films. I am looking forward to watching the Panda II.

Please click her facebook or her website for proofs that he is still alive.

The Unskilled Mom

Ruby Tuesday

Since I didn't have a Ruby pictures taken recently, I will just post here the flower I created during my daughter's program at school. She said she needs to hold a flower on that particular activity. Yeah, I know I don't have the skills and talent of making one, even how hard I tried but it did help her. Lol

Only The Best

Yesterday was the graduation rites of my niece Mariel. I was able to attend it, although I went there late already. Here are some of the pictures:

Singing their Alma Mater Song

While the school program continues, of course my sister and me have to strike a pose

Look at how happy they were!

Finally they were able to finish the first of the many steps of their long journey towards life, ventures, struggles and success. Anyway, just a piece of advice, before you do something or decide something crucial for your life, please think first of your parents who are striving so hard and working their best so they could send you to school and gave you the life, you ever wanted.

Wish you all the success in life, girls!

Friday, March 25, 2011

Congratulations Mariel!

I just would like to congratulate my niece Mariel. It is her graduation today, that's why I am in a hurry to catch her graduation program this morning. Then later I would go to my Doctor for check up regarding with my cough, I was not able to push through it yesterday because I have to fetch my daughter in Kumon and sent her to the pool to meet her new instructor. I was not able to sleep early last night since I wanted to finish my work online so I could get paid on Friday.

I hope I could still attend my niece graduation and take a picture of her with her toga attire. I know she still had so many things she would encounter during college. I wanted her to be focused and set her goal so that she can achieve it without any hassle. Love would be temptations in college but if she wanted to finish her studies, she should make it her priority so everything will work positively. We love you Mariel and congratulations!

Slideshow

My husband created a family slideshow for us. It was when my youngest daughter was only like 3 or 4 months old. I think I was not into blogging yet but I was a member of a networking site not Friendster but the other one, oh how I missed that site. It is still up though but I only visit there very seldom besides my friends from there transferred already to FB.

He made the slideshow through Microsoft Power Point, since I don't know how to paste it here in blog with the slideshow intact, I just pressed the screenshot and pasted it here.

Simple and Easy To Navigate

Whenever I think of the word “gator” I think of the University of Florida “Gators.” Well I am not a Gator fan, as a matter of fact; I root against them more often than for them. Well, hostgator has nothing to do with the University of Florida or its mascot. Hostgator is a web hosting service. Often websites can be complicated and when going to set them, interfaces can be complicated or confusing and time consuming. If you have a targeted audience you really want to be able to reach them and provide them the information to draw them to your website. Simple and easy to navigate websites are often the best way to go. I have been lost when trying to get information from overly complicated websites and have given up in frustration, seeking different source for the information or product I need.

Thankful Thursday : A Window Will Open

I have so many things I am thankful for this week, particularly with Jm's performance on her advance tutorial, although she is still struggling with some she was able to cope it up. Her teacher in P.E. is willing to help her for her training; she would start today but let's see if we can go there since it is raining so hard since this morning. You see, when the door is close, a window would open just for you. Maybe our arguments with her previous instructor were a blessing in disguise. He closed the doors for my daughter but one did not hesitate to open two windows in fact for her. He already fooled us enough regarding with the payments and stuff last year, I believe GOD will never allow that to happen again. Yet, even though we have grudges now, I wish him the best of luck and that I hope he would change because an organization will never progress if the head doesn't care enough for his subordinates, it will never be successful if he has many things on his closet because no matter how he hide those things, the truth will still prevails.

Long Gone

It has been a while since I didn’t take my vitamins. My vitamin C perhaps, was only stored in our medicine kit. My husband keeps on reprimanding me to take my vitamins but I always forget to take it. My calcium vitamins was given away because I didn’t take it, one friend asked me if he could have it since his calcium vitamins were already finished and it would take a while for his daughter to send him, his maintenance. I advised him to tell his daughter to just order it online or visit first the http://www.calcium-supplements.org so she can choose what’s best and mostly recommended by some source for her father. The site would help her determine the efficiency, ingredients and side effects of a certain products so she should not worry if the one she picked up has some factors not good for his father’s health. Anyway, my calcium vitamins has long gone, now it’s time for me to make a canvass what’s best for me, if I should have known better, I would persist myself to take my vitamins daily.

Back Up Your Files

I was becoming worried when I know that there are several bloggers whom their account was deactivated from the web. I am a no techie myself, although I experienced it one day when this blog and my Little World of Fun could not be seen in the web. I almost cried when it happened to me, one thing I thought was what about my personal post that was written like how many years ago and my article for a certain paid sites. They won't pay me if I can't recover those the soonest possible time. My husband already called the company where I bought my domain and they said the company haven't done anything with it and that I should contact my domain's hosting provider to recover my account.

My husband and I research about the error I got and good thing we were able to find a solution for it. You know the feeling of getting nowhere, you wanted to come up with a solution, and you are not sure if you are doing it right? Well, you don't have to worry anymore. If you are still in a free webhosting, you can back up your files now. I already did that last night and I created one blog that is not published and imported all the files I got from my published blog and so it worked!

Back up your files every month so when you lost your files in your website, you can just import all your write-ups in a blog.

Here's what I did:

First I exported all my files and saved it in my hard drive.

This is when there is something wrong going on around.

Create another blog, don't published it

Then import the files that you exported in your hard drive.

That's it and your files will be recovered.

Take note, all the files were only recovered and not your website or your domain. You may consult it to the one who is expert on this. Or asked the admin where you have your blog free hosted for your site to be up again.

I wish he hears it

How I really wish my husband would make up his mind to buy me a new Digital camera, I really spotted one in the mall and they were sony digital cameras. I love the trendy color and most of all everybody knows of its durability and its quality. Although mine still works even it was already soaked in the pool when we went to a resort on New Year, I still wanted to buy another one and this time I hope I could own one of those Digital cameras. It would be a nice mother's day gift for me; I wish he hears it.

Watery Wednesday : Baptized

My nephew had his baptismal just last year when he was already 9 years old. It was not clear though when my sister explained it to me why she did not let him baptized when he was younger. Well, whatever her reason, it doesn't matter at all now, what important was he is already baptized though it was only done later.

This is my entry for:

Watery Wednesday

My Relaxing Moment

I’d like to buy a hot tub with a well design, stylish and has a good quality hot tub cover. I would probably have it install in our back yard so the kids could have so much fun when they soak themselves in our hot tub. On the second thought, I guess it would be more comfortable if I put it in our bathroom, in that way, it could give me more privacy when I dip myself into it and have myself engulf the soothing, relaxing moment. Sigh if only we are not just renting this house I could have our bathroom renovated to make it bigger so we can put our hut tub without maximizing the space. So since our bathroom is not that spacious, putting a hut tub there is not a good idea. When could I buy a hot tub? Let me consult my finance manager, LOL!

Win A Vintage Necklace and Help Kassandra To Hear

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.
Thich Nhat Hanh

Do you like to join a contest for a cause?

This is your time to share your blessings by joining Grace Contest; you can win Vintage necklace as well as helping her daughter to hear. So Nice To Be Just At Home

The day was spent only at home, my daughter JM was so at ease now that their final is over. She is now seating in our couch watching TV, although she is still grounded from using the computer and so for playing Nintendo. She must know the good and bad and how it would affect her as she grows up. I thought she would sneak in of using the computer or her Nintendo when I am not around, but I was surprised she followed it whole heartedly.

After their final this morning, they had a farewell party. She brought with her Adobo for lunch and when she returned home this afternoon, she brought us almost the whole banana cake, of course F and I were so happy munching it as our snack.

Oh, it is so nice just to be at home without anything to be hurry for. This would be a great summer for us.

Paypal Donates

Ever since I saw how devastated the tsunami and the quake that hits in Japan on TV. I thought to at least donate a small amount from my earning here in blogsphere. Just today through Elvira's Roundabout, I finally found a way to give, for some people in Japan who's this time really need our help.

If you are also willing to give a hand, just click Paypal donates and you will be redirected to the site. I know I donated such a small amount yet I hope it could still help some of them.

The Lady Behind Us

I was in the hospital today to visit my daughter's friend, when her Mom paid some of the bills, the lady behind me was agitated to get to her line so she could pay her bills, she said they should assigned two cashiers so the line will not that long. They wanted to check out their patient because it has been a while that they were there and the cost is unbearable at all. I asked her if how she is related with her patients, she said it's her daughter, 18 years old and suffers leukemia. I asked her if they had it in their generations since that was I thought of, you could get leukemia when one of your ancestors had it. She answered me that they don't have that kind of illness, the doctor told them leukemia is not through hereditary anymore; you could get it from your environment, lifestyles and the foods you are taking.

But her girl is too young to have that, and knowing leukemia, it has a lot of process to get heal. One of those, is the patient should undergo chemo therapy and if her immune system is not strong enough, her body cannot cope up. How I wish, she will be able to fight for it, she is too young and she must have so many dreams in her life she wanted to achieve. God bless her.

The Powerful Tsunami in Miyagi, Japan

When I was done here yesterday, I suddenly tuned our TV in CNN channel only to find out that the Japan was hit a 8.9 magnitude earthquake. It was hit around past 2 p.m., there; it was past 1:00 p.m, here at that time. We were still shocked with the news when all so sudden they aired the tsunami slowly rising to the area of Sendai. I and my sister were screaming and trying to figure out if that was a roof or town slowly covered by a powerful tsunami. The tsunami was televised through a camera in a helicopter; the tsunami rapidly went to some houses, to the train, to the street. We could even see people running, leaving their cars behind to try to go to inland. I know we were only watching TV but it seems like we also feel their fears, we were catching our breath, and wondering if these people could still survive! I cried in silent, I never seen such scenes like that before and I was asking myself what if?

What would happen if a certain, a-not so equipped country could experience that? Japan is an established country compared to the Philippines, what will happen then if that kind of tsunami would reach here, although the government tried their best to relocate and evacuate residences here yesterday but could that be enough? In times like this, prayer is the only way we could do for us to recover from this calamity.

That was the 5th greatest quake that happens in the world since 1900. Is it a call for us to prepare for some unusual damaging calamity here on Earth? Is our mother nature gone so mad and that she wanted us to wake up, to tell us that this is the time we need to take care of her seriously.

I don't know what to say, I believe that the people in Japan are still mourning of what had happened to them yesterday, my sincerest condolences to those people who were so affected. Especially to the passengers of that missing train that was swept away by that huge tsunami. As of last night, 88,000 people are still missing and until now the death toll and the missing people are still rising.

These were my shout out in FB yesterday, I was actually watching the news in TV, tweeting, and following in FB.

"Kakaiba maningil ni Mother Earth, kaya sana alagaan na natin siya".

It was more than like a movie! In just one blink of our own eyes, it changes everything. It happens so instant. Death toll and missing people in Japan still rises, numerous after shocks were still experienced. I hope and pray for those who were affected.

approximately 1,039 Filipinos in Miyagi, Japan I hope they are all okay, even though that area was hit by the powerful Tsunami.

In one blink of our own eyes, in one snap of our finger, everything just change and we could not even stop it.

In times like this, there's only one we can depend on, and that's HIM.

I hope he would be given a chance for another life

We are in turmoil right now, my FIL was sent to hospice for his heart condition. My husband is already so worried about it.

I don’t know how to react since we are so miles apart, not only me but my husband as well. His dad lives in Florida and my husband is in Maryland. He has to go to Florida to visit and check his Dad. He was able to talk to his cousin on the phone and he told him, his Dad is not doing well. Although his sister told him, their Dad is okay.

This saddened me and all of us here, especially when the kids really wanted to meet and see their Grandfather. But I guess when GOD will call him to heaven, we cannot resist it, we have to let the person go.

I just told my husband to relax as he has been so uneasy with the situation. I am not sure if I comfort him right and that was all I can do for the moment. I just hope GOD will give him years here on earth yet for his family. I know it sounds impossible but nothing could beat the power of prayer. We just have to believe.

It Provides Electricity Thus Saving Your Food

A few years ago, hurricane Isabel knocked out power in several locations in Maryland and Virginia. Some people were without power for a week or more. We are so used to the convenience of electricity that we often forget what it is to be without it. One thing that happens when electric power is interrupted for several days, your frozen and refrigerated food will go bad over time. A gas generator like the honda eu3000i can save your money in the long run by providing electricity to your freezer or refrigerator thus saving your food. One thing to remember about gas generators, make sure they are located outside the house. Never run an electric generator in doors. The fumes (mostly carbon monoxide) can be deadly.

Thankful Thursday : Changing Her Milk

I just decided to change F's milk, from Gain to Nido. For how many days and nights she despised drinking that milk. Well, it is cheaper than Gain and I thought she is ready to try another brand of milk, which is not that expensive.

I was so sad when she asked for milk and after I prepared her a glass of milk; she just won't try it at all. She just sipped a little then she would say no. But just this week, I was so thankful that she really asked for it and finished the whole glass and last night she did it again.

You know how tight our budget these days, sometimes I would attempt to look for work but whenever I think of my kids, I choose not to. I also tried to look for a small business but with today's economy crisis, to start a business would be crucial.

Yet, I am still thankful that we will still survive even there are times I feel like how hard life is. I know GOD will not forsake me especially during downfall times.

P.S This is my first entry for Thankful Thursday

Ruby Tuesday : Wings To Fly

Ruby Tuesday

I am riding a public transportation and sometimes I overheard the driver about the gasoline price increased. And that when would the government approved the fare increase. For that moment I prayed I hope they will not approve the fare price increase but they should lower down the amount of the gasoline price so we can still cope up. Some would say that's impossible and that the only resort we can get is to increase the gasoline and fare.

I just hope I have wings to fly so I will not need both of them. And I would call myself Flying V? Lol! Just take a snap below so you would know what I am talking about here. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Belly Dancing on Stage?

I was so surprised when our Dance Instructor for Belly Dancing told us that we will going to dance on May, I am not sure where but she said we have to do a lot of practice and that she assures us the steps were only so easy.

At first, I thought she was only kidding but then when they asked me what color I would like to have for the costume now that proves me, they are not kidding at all.

Me and my friend are still denying it, we are still newbie and we can't do it, we are too shy to dance in front of so many audience. But they said they will not leave us alone.

I don't know where this thing would lead to, would I join or not?

I am in a dilemma, I mean this is a rare opportunity to at least enjoy our time being a Mom even how busy we are but can we follow the belly dancing steps?
