The Right Utensils

One thing I demand in a kitchen is that it is big enough for at least two people to work in at the same time. I mean, I like to cook but there are some things that I don’t like doing (like peeling onions). Also, to make it functional, I need the right kitchen utensils. In addition to things like, knives, forks and spoons, I am talking about measuring cups, tongues, spatulas and other things I need to make my kitchen an easy place for me too cook for my family. Cooking can be fun, as long as you have the right kitchen utensils you need.

Coping Up

I am really so sleepy but I can't cope anymore I need to rest, my eyes are not cooperating at all.

I should have finish my task now but how could you start writing when the weather is so cold, in fact it has been raining since this morning, but we have to go out. It's Saturday and we opt to be so busy.

The commotion is still ongoing at the pool today, I don't know if I can still cope up or have the spirit to come to the pool, I am just so disappointed with what's happening around, if only...

Anyway, have to grab my blanket and park my keyboard, goodnight and have a very sunny Sunday ahead of you!

Lazy Bum Today

Its Edsa day today so my daughter don't have a class at school, it has been a long day for her yesterday and I am sure she was exhausted with her allergy that attacks her last night, nevertheless she needs rest at least.

I supposed to go out today to get the money that my husband wired for me but since I will need that for the fee at the pool, I might just get that tomorrow when we will go to KUMON so I can save the money for our fare. I am just a lazy bum today, well, it is so nice to see my kids just at home, wrestling and get crazy at times oh, specially my little tea pod.

I was saved by the bell, because if I insist on going out today, I might was soaking wet under the rain because it just rained a while ago all so sudden.

On the other note, I have to finish EC dropping now so I could read my book, which made me cry, laugh, sigh and smile. Wink (",).

Allergy Attacks

We had a long and unexpected incident today, my daughter was sent to the ER just this afternoon, after we were done paying my contributions of my insurance. We were about to go to her training when suddenly she told me, her head was aching. So we dropped by at the mall, near at the training venue, I bought an Advil for her as it was recommended by the pharmacist when I asked her which medicine is effective for her age.

She still have a slight headache when we arrived at the pool, she said she would rest for a while first before she would prepare herself for the training. She lies down at the cottage for a moment or two and asked me if she could eat a bowl of hot noodles. I bought one and handed it to her. While she was eating, I noticed of some rashes on her face, I tried to ignore it but when she was already complaining of her eyes as if it was stung by some insects, I started to get panicked. One parent suddenly touch her on her forehead and check the rashes, she quickly exclaimed it was an allergy!

We sent her to the ER right away, the rashes started to spread on her neck then at her back. When the doctor tapped her tummy, she said that hurts her. The Doctor then told me, the allergy is slowly starting inside her system and the only way she could recover fast as the allergy struck her quickly as well, was a shot. She will be injected for anti-histamine, she explained it to me that a tablet alone could not heal her right away and since she was palpitating, she needs to recover as soon as possible otherwise it would complicate her.

She looked at me with disapproval on her face, ever since she doesn't like to be poke with needles. But at that moment we have no choice but to follow what the Doctor has advised to us. She slept after that, at the bed provided for her. I went back to the cottage to get our things and waited for her to wake up. They attendant was still observing her, since her eyes was still swelling, the rashes on her face and neck were almost gone.

I thought they will ask us to stay overnight, good thing at 9:00 pm, Jm's eyes were seemed to be okay now. They decided to check us out. The Doctor said if the rashes will get back and if she will have a stomachache the next day. I should send her back at the hospital again.

Ruby Tuesday : The Napkin Holder

Ruby Tuesday

I was trying to check if there was a ruby color I could capture that night at the Resto. Nevertheless, it was none. I mean I saw one, I quickly took a picture of it but it resulted not good, the color was not enhanced I have to try harder, little did I know, the ruby color was only in our table, just waiting to be noticed. LOL!

The Napkin holder of course! Hehehe

Exposure to Asbestos

I am scared of cancer. I don’t know anybody who is not. Who knew 40 or 50 years ago that Asbestos was a cancer causing agent? Asbestos was used in many different industries. It was used in brakes on cars, insulation in schools and on naval ships. It was everywhere. Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos. It gets into your lungs and is very destructive. People who have been exposed to asbestos need to make sure they get checked. It can take a long time for the mesothelioma to develop. I hope none of my readers are affected by this disease.

Disway

As I mentioned last night, I and my kids went to a newly put up restaurant near our place. And as promised these were the pictures taken by Jm.

This is my youngest who roamed around the place
the moment we stepped inside the restaurant

The Stage where the live band sings

One of the cottages
Plants inside the restaurant

Us of course
The name of the restaurant

I tell you the dip fry hito or catfish was so yummy, geez I am even drooling right now, Ill be back there for sure!

To Be Perfectly Fit

Have you ever thought that there’s a weight loss pills that work without taking the proper diet? For me, to ensure that you will get back to your shape, you should also watch out of your foods intake. This is so important because if you don’t have self-discipline and you just go on your way to eat variety of foods that has a lot of cholesterol and carbohydrates, I guess the pills alone could not help you reach your goal of slimming down. You may lose weight but that don’t get rid of flabby fats in your belly. To be perfectly fit, it should require two things and that to impose proper diet and regular exercise.

I will be sleeping sound and happy

There’s no other thing that could make me so calm than the voice of my husband. Now that I am settled, I can now sleep without making me fuss over things. I am so excited to sleep now because I know I will be sleeping sound and happy. Goodnight everyone!

Make Some Research

There are many diet supplements in the market today but nonetheless some are not effective and the worst it will just get you bad side effects. I am not against of those people who depend on diet pills, in fact I am one of them but I make sure to read the contents of the pill before taking it. The best is to consult a Doctor so you will not regret taking it in the end. In today’s economy crisis, you should not be sick, so to speak you should take a moment to read what chromium picolinate has to offer, who knows this would give you a chance to attain your goal for losing some pounds. But as I always recommend, read some reviews, check the supplement thoroughly, its plus factors and negative reactions, you see there’s a lot of ways to know the pills that you will be taking. Do not risk and make an effort to do some research.

Band Performing Live

We went to church later this afternoon because I have to take a nap for not having enough sleep last night. The kids were using the two laptops; my youngest daughter used the Dell with her starfall.com, while my oldest daughter used the mini to update her Facebook and to play some games. I told Jm to lock the door, while I was asleep. When I woke up around 4:00 p.m., we prepared our stuff right away so to attend the mass.

Right after, we heard the mass, we went to a new restaurant located near here. The foods were yummy but what I and my kids enjoyed the most were the band, they played great music, not so rock but mellow. Their voice was so pleasant to our ears, which made my youngest daughter fell asleep. Jm and I savor the moment since it was rare for us to go to a restaurant with some bands playing lovely music. One of the performers was our neighbor before, when I was still in college, so we were encourage requesting a song for them to sing. Nevertheless, it was the Runaway by Corrs, the song of my husband and me for our first dance during the wedding and "If I Ain't Got You" my favorite song ever since my friend sang it the first time.

I am sure we will dine there very often from now on; I'll post some pictures of the restaurant by tomorrow and the video that my daughter took when they perform on stage.

Making a Canvass for a New Printer

My printer has been served me enough and I can’t deny it, the printer did a perfect job for so many years now. But I guess we need to replace it very soon. When I purchased my mouse for my computer, there were many hp printers displayed at the computer shop I visited. There were new features and I like it so much, I am already making a canvass and this time I just have to save more money to buy a new updated hp printer for me and for my family. Jm used printer frequently nowadays for her projects and such so I really have to work hard on it, thus she doesn’t have to go to my sister’s house just to print her assignment at school.

The Original Version

It has been a while since I don't listen to any new songs, but recently I was so amazed with the kid sang the Born This Way the cover, originated by Lady Gaga. Now, as I was curious how the original sounds like, I tried my best to search the original song and this time with Lady Gaga.

I never thought, it was a fast almost danceable song, what about you, which one do you like the other one or this version?

Anyway the lyrics of the song below:

Born This Way

It doesn't matter if you love him, or capital H-I-M
Just put your paws up
'Cause you were born this way, baby

My mama told me when I was young
We are all born superstars
She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on
In the glass of her boudoir

"There's nothin' wrong with lovin' who you are"
She said, "'Cause He made you perfect, babe"
"So hold your head up, girl and you you'll go far,
Listen to me when I say"

I'm beautiful in my way,
'Cause God makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way
(Born this way)

Ooo, there ain't no other way
Baby, I was born this way
Baby, I was born this way
(Born this way)
Ooo, there ain't other way
Baby, I was born this way
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Don't be a drag, just be a queen
Don't be a drag, just be a queen
Don't be a drag, just be a queen
Don't be!

Give yourself prudence and love your friends
Subway kid, rejoice the truth
In the religion of the insecure
I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin
Believe capital H-I-M (hey, hey, hey)
I love my life, I love this record and
Mi amore vole fe yah

I'm beautiful in my way,
'Cause God makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Ooo, there ain't no other way

[ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/born-this-way-lyrics-lady-gaga.html ]

Baby, I was born this way
Baby, I was born this way
(Born this way )
Ooo, there ain't other way
Baby, I was born way
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

( Queen ,
Don't be , Queen )

Don't be drag, just be a queen
Whether you're broke or evergreen
You're black, white, beige, chola descent
You're lebanese, you're orient
Whether life's disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied or teased
Rejoice and love yourself today
'Cause baby, you were born this way

No matter gay, straight or bi
lesbian, transgendered life
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
chola or orient made
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born to be brave

I'm beautiful in my way
'Cause God makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way, yeah!

Ooo, there ain't no other way
Baby, I was born this way
Baby, I was born this way
(Born this way )
Ooo, there ain't other way
Baby, I was born this way
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

I was born this way, hey!
I was born this way, hey!
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way, hey!

I was born this way, hey!
I was born this way, hey!
I'm on the right track, baby

But At Least To Lose Weight

I often seen men who got the toned muscles and has the perfect abs at the gym before, and I always wonder if that was the jack3d side effects, I nearly asked one trainer out there if those guys he assists with the gym uses that pre work out supplements but I choose not to, it was still a question in my mind and that if I could recommend it to my husband. On the second thought, my husband don’t need those, for me he was just perfect, what he needs right now is to slim down a bit since that is the doctors’ recommendation and I support him 100%, I will certainly accompany him when he jogs or go to the gym not to have the perfect abs but at least to lose weight.

Watch Out

Yay! We already booked our flight for competition on June, I am kind' a excited but pissed off with what is going on around. Well, I guess my daughter has to decide now to choose what activity she should be taking after this, and now I'll make sure that we have to be extra careful of the fees and such so we will be no longer experience such as we experienced right now. It is so traumatic! After this, I would tell the whole world what was left unsaid. So you better watch out because no one will be able to stop me.

Oh you know what I mean!

With all the stress I have now, I think I am having an under eye dark circles, it is so hard to talk with a person who is so pointless. No wonder he was a breakaway from this event for so many years because of unexplainable agenda. Well, I hope I could find a cream that can treat my eye dark circles so to at least I look fresh and anew even how tired I am with this situation right now and that sleeping so late will not be visible through my eyes. Oh you know what I mean!

Stunning : She is the Future

While I was reading some updates in my twitter account, I found this link from one of my favorite news anchor, I open the link and can’t help to admire this girl performing the Born this way of Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga even tweeted the video to her account and quoted “Can’t stop crying watching this. This is why I make music, she is the future”.

See it for yourself!

Belly Dancing and Buying A New Mouse

I am so tired right now, I just arrived from the belly session and I tell you, as I thought the steps were easy, I didn't expect it can be that hard! I need to focus more with how you shake this and that, there's a tactic but I just can't get it right. Well anyway, I attended 2 sessions yet so I guess I can eventually get that thing right. Right after the session, I immediately headed to the mall to buy a mouse for our computer, thanks to my friend because she offered me a ride going to the mall, I don't have to commute and get through with the traffic.

After like half an hour, finally the attendant served me and handed me the mouse. The store was not that crowded but I guess they were lacking of sales force to attend the customers. Some of us gave up and did not wait at all. If only there's another store there that sells computer parts, I won't sacrifice myself to stand and wait for someone there to serve me. Hence, I know, patience is a virtue, isn't it?

Watery Wednesday : Fish in the Aquarium

What if our water in the ocean could not sustain those fish anymore?
What will happen to us?

This I thought when I saw these fish in the aquarium of a restaurant; we were having lunch there when I notice these fish trying to survive. I do not know, but it pained my heart so much, I know that eventually these fish will be taken from the aquarium to cook, they are destined for that. But I just can't help the feeling especially when this fish in the picture looked at me, seemingly begging me for him to free him. Ouch!

Ruby Tuesday : Mini Garden

Yesterday was Valentines Day and the swimming venue where my daughter has her training celebrated it as well. They had a buffet dinner at the restaurant and to make it cool, they put up tables and chair in their mini garden, mostly weddings are held from there.

Now, I wonder what happen to this supposedly Valentines celebration because it was raining so hard last night. When we went back from the mall, there was no couple who dated or group dates or friendly dates at the reception. It was like haunted, of course no one would like to get wet under the rain, while dating right? Uhmmm, this might serve as a lesson to the management, never to celebrate any occasion outside in their mini garden. They must have a zero income because of the unpredictable weather last night.

Movies I am looking forward to watch

There are many movies I wanted to watch this month and the upcoming months, first off was the Tangled, which I already watched together with my kids yesterday. I'd been looking forward to watch Unknown, and the Within Three Days, but they are not showing yet in the Cinema. I was also planning to watch "Bulong" a local movie here in the country.

I am a movie goer, I am not denying it. Sometimes I could watch four to 5 movies in DVD for one day. If I am not that busy here in blogosphere, though I missed reading books so much. I will have to try to go to the book shop the next time I am in the mall, and picked up Daniele Steele's book. How I wish I could find some time to read and so to ponder.

The Result of Multitasking

My body is sore and in pain, I think it is hard for me to go out in downtown today but I have to since I need to pay the rent for our house and I need to pay the cable company. How I wish to stop the time so I'll be able to finish the entire task for today. But even so I am in sore, never the least I would thank my friend who invited me for Belly dancing yesterday, yeah, that's the reason why I feel like I was being tortured and attacked.

And since I needed to be fast, I was not able to check the bread that I supposed to make a burger for JM this breakfast. I was multitasking; I was checking the Entrecard, checking the comment, writing a quiz for my daughter to answer when she's done taking a bath, and cooking a viand for her lunch. Now this was the result of my multitasking.

Geez, I need a mouse right now, not a mouse like mice but mouse for my computer!

Cake for his Baptismal

When the baby of one of my closest friends baptized last month, I was not able to bring presents for the baby because besides of being so busy and sick, I don’t have any baby gift ideas at that time. I don’t know, it was just, I was too preoccupied and I could not think of anything. I feel so disappointed of myself but she said it was okay and that my present is important than of the gifts. Good thing when I arrived at their house I was able to come up with an idea, I grabbed her sister and told her my plan is and so we went to a nearest cakes and pastries to buy a cake and ice cream for the celebrant.

Azkals Won Over the Mongolia Blue Wolves

I had been reading my twitter account regarding the Azkals and Mongolia Blue Wolves last night. I did not turn the TV on since Mj was studying her Science in the living room and since Faith was so busy with Starfall.com, I used my mini laptop to get some updates for the game, and guess what? The Azkals beats The Mongolia Blue Wolves in their Asian Football Confederation Challenge Cup, with the score 2-0, the said game was held at Panaad Stadium.

Emilio Caligdong was the first one who got scored against the Mongolians; the second goal was scored by Phil Younghusband. So on and so forth.

I am sure; the stadium was full of cheers from our dear kababayan when they won the game. Yay! I can even feel the triumph they achieved and the loud cheers from our fellow Filipino. It would be so overwhelming if I am there watching, but oh well, I guess twitter is enough for me to feel the success. Go go Pinoys!

Teaching and Accounting

When I was about to graduate in high school, my friends would always tell me that it would be best for me if I would take the teaching degrees since I am used to stand in front of the classroom to make a report for our lesson in our class. My teacher would always commend me with the way I organized my report and the way I explained it to my classmates. She would exclaim that I will be a good teacher if I would choose the teaching course.

But I guess it was not my line of field because I choose the other way around and that is the accounting. I do not like numbers when I was still in high school but I eventually learned to love it when I was already in college. I love the challenge and it excites me a lot when I can’t seem to find the centavo in the worksheets. There are times, I would sleep in the table, while I was in the middle of making the statement balance, my mind was still working and mind you when I wake up, I could finally settle the account. It seems like I was dreaming of where the centavo is and put it in the right account.

On the other note, I and my husband is talking about enrolling me in a higher level course and I am opening the idea of taking the teaching degrees as my masters, there's a lot of online master's program in teaching we saw in the Internet but we are not yet deciding of which field would I be concentrating, whether it would be English or Science. How I wish we could discussed this when he visit me here.

Watery Wednesday : Reflections

That was the resort we stayed for New Year, the picture was not that clear since I was only using my cellphone to capture the reflection from the water. I think it was awesome, it captivates me enough to try to take a picture of it but unfortunately it was blurry.

Hilarious Letter

And since I can’t come up with any stories to tell for you guys, because I just finished preparing our breakfast and my eldest for school, I might just want to share this story that has been in the note of my sister on her facebook. I tell you I had a good laugh, I shared it with my husband and a wide reader as he is told me that the joke was actually old. Well, I just read it so it’s still kind a new to me, anyway here it is:

Dear Wife,

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you for good. I've been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw.

Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had gotten a new hair cut, cooked your favorite meal, and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers later that night.

You came home, nibbled at your food for two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore, you don't want sex anymore or anything. Either you're cheating on me or you don't love me. Whichever is the case, I'm gone.

Signed,

Your EX-Husband

P.S. Don't try to find me. Your sister and I are moving away to West Virginia together. Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband,

Nothing has made my day more enjoyable than receiving your letter. It's true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a 'good man' is a far cry from what you've been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. It's just too bad it doesn't work.

Yes, I did notice when you got a hair cut last week, and actually the first thing that came to my mind was "You look just like a girl", but my mother raised me not to say anything at all if you can't say anything nice. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with my SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago.

I turned away from you when you had those new silk boxers on because the price tag was still on them. I prayed that it was just a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning and your silk boxers were $49.99...

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for twenty million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Hawaii. But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you've always wanted.

My lawyer said with the letter that you wrote, you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

Signed,

Rich As Hell and Freeeeeeeeeeee!

Sunday Stealing : The Ace Meme Part 3

Oh boy! Our wall clock fell from the wall when my daughter tried to close the door in the bedroom. Now we don't have a wall clock to look at anymore whenever we need to know the time, I have to look around the house to look after my watch since I normally don't used it when I am just at home. Hair Rebond

On Monday, while it was raining so hard, me and Mj went out to meet some errands, we went to her ENT for her nose check-up. And since the Doctor was still out, we were advised to go back in the afternoon so we went to another appointment. It was still raining at that time, when we went to an office for a certain transaction, afterwards we went to the bank and there we met a beautician who does a-not-so expensive hair rebonds.

I asked his phone number because I really think I need to do something with my hair since it was damaged last year and as I've seen his job through the hair of one of his clients who was also at the bank that time, I was impressed, of course plus the sales talk, I was convinced to give it a try.

Today we met up, and here is the result of his work. My sister was also encouraged to have a hair make over today.

I Will Die For Our Freedom!

When a person says “I will die for our freedom”! You would exclaim how noble this person is, he doesn’t care if he dies as long as his people could attain the freedom that they longed for.

I would always be dazzle whenever I hear or whenever I see people fighting for their rights and for their freedom. I could still remember when I was in college, I was so curious about Jose Rizal’s life then, so I borrowed a book that entails of his life and how did he fought and enlightened the mind of the Filipino People. Of course everyone knows that it was through his writings, published in the other country, I am not sure now where it is since you know I tend to forget things even when I was still young, because he was not allowed to published the book here, his writings was restricted but even though the book was forbidden in our own country, it was still passed and read by the Filipino secretly.

Dr. Jose Rizal fought only through his books and never did he use any weapons because he believes that they could win without shedding any blood.

There are times, I wish being a hero but I am sure how big the responsibility is, when you are being one, when you fight for your men that sometimes your family will be in danger when you are out there in the battle fighting for the rights that everyone deserves.

If you want to read the Life of Jose Rizal, just click the link. I am certain you would as well admire his advocates of freedom.

"On battlefields struggling in frenzy,
Others have given their life blood,
Freely, without hesitation.
With not a regret in the giving;
No matter what place, what condition.
Mid cypress or laurel or lilies,
Whether on scaffold, in open,
Or combat or martyrdom cruel,
It is the same to the hero
Who dies for his home and his fireside."
