Severe Headache Tonight

I feel like the world has been tumbling down on me today. Right after we headed to the wholesaler store to buy some stocks for the store, my head started to ache and so heavy. I wanted to hit the bed when we arrived home but Faith was showing me something and doesn’t want me to sleep. She always charmed me and I always got mesmerize with her sweetness to me. So I decided not to rest and play with her at times in the living room, I could have write a post a while ago but my mind got blank when I started to write something, good thing that Faith let me do my thing here in the computer and she was too busy with Kicks Buttowski in the TV.

I asked Mj to buy me a pain reliever and I took it after I ate dinner. I also asked her to rubbed me a menthol ointment in my back and while she was so busy putting me an Efficascent oil in my back, Faith was so also busy walking in my back, I got a free massage from my two kids that made me feel so relax right now. Goodnight everyone folks, I hope I could visit another 200 sites tonight.

Keeping your face clean

Unsightly blemishes and pimples more commonly known as acne is something that we have all had to deal with. I have two young daughters and they will certainly have to deal with them in the future. But what are the best acne treatments? Keeping your face clean and medicating acne when it first appears is the way I think it is best to deal with it. For me I usually used a light cream and anti bacterial wash, I have been using it since I graduated college. But now, my friend recommended me a sun block, as they said since it is undeniably hot here in our place, it is advisable if we used sun block. I also read about it somewhere.

On the other hand, I hope my kids would not suffer much of that as I did not when I was still young. I just used soap then, a baby powder and that’s it. I also did not eat much oily foods as it would cause having pimples. What about you? What are your tips to have a pimple free, would you mind sharing it to us?

PBWeekend : School Supplies

Mj was so excited last Friday because that was the day I promised her we would buy a new bag and some school items for her. And so after her tutorial class, we immediately went to the mall to buy the things and the kind of pencil she ever wanted. She supposedly wanted the other style of bag, but I told her to pick up a bag that has an organizer inside so her things would be still and will not turn upside down. We had to choose Barbie brand because as what I know Mj, she messed up with her things sometimes and that it would easily damage, I have known Barbie brand as a tough one and will not easily give up.

Battle of the Bulge

Before Faith was born I had a smooth flat tummy. I was proud of it, but after her birth it seems that I have been fighting the battle of the bulge. Some ab workouts would probably help me reduce my midsection and make me look good again. But one thing I know, my husband will love me anyway, even if I am still fighting the “battle of the bulge.”

Do you battle like me? If you do, what are the work outs that you did that you think it work or has good results. I sometimes get tired of going to the gym, but I have to use their treadmill anyway because I don’t have one here at home and so to attend the aerobics session when I don’t have to send my eldest daughter to her tutorial class. It has been so many weeks now that I am faithful to do it and if I would continue doing this, I am sure I would get that flat belly I ever wanted. I hope it is not that exhausted though, wish me luck!

Malice

For four years she was living in despair, her mother was so ill and was already bedridden because of her cancer. Her father was a community hero, he was a good lawyer and most of the town really appreciates his skills as a lawyer and most of them have been his very good client. When his wife died, the whole town was for him, they gave them their sympathy and his only daughter. His daughter, Grace who dress like she has been aged yet she is only 17. She took good care of her mother for four years and has been an obedient daughter for her parents. She was described as a very aloof and so withdrawn, she spends her time to her Mom and was not like the other teenagers, and she stayed home most of the time after school.

That day was the day they had to send her mother to its last destination; Grace served all the guests very well. That night as she was very tired, her father told her to get rest after the last guest went home. She told her Dad, she better wash the dishes and clean the house. She saw her Dad went to his bedroom and so she finish all the chores before she went to her bedroom to take a shower as well. She lay down in the bath tub feeling the water in it, unnoticed with how beautiful and how slender her body is, she was lying down there, trying to think of her future, now that her mother is gone. She wanted to go away and be alone from this house; it has caused her a lot of pain. Her mom died now, and she has no reason to stay.

Her Dad knocked on the door, calling her and telling her to go outside with him. He said he is so worried and if she wanted to have someone to talk to, her father is just outside. She answered him back that she is alright and will be coming out after a while. After she was finished, she went outside and hand her Dad a coffee, she put back the plates to the cabinet when it was dry. She went back to her bedroom and locked the door; she wanted to sleep early, as tomorrow would be another day. But she heard her Dad calling her again and now forcing the door to open. She was shouting to leave her alone, her knees were trembling. She is so scared. He will do it again and just like those nights, the only difference is that her mother is not there anymore, there is no reason to do it, she is supposed to be free now but she is scared and frightened and doesn't want to do it. He had forced the door, he was able to unlock it and now he is standing in front of Grace.

-ooo-

That is the story of the book I am reading now, the title of the book is Malice and of course it is from Daniele Steel. After this book, there's a book waiting for me to read, I have to try the John Grisham, they said he writes so well, his books oftentimes contains about judicial law and such. I hope I would like it though it is impossible if I won't because everyone loved his books so much.

Did you hear about that kind of cigarrete?

I don’t smoke and never even really tried. It was something that did not really hold any temptation for me. But when I heard about an electronic cigarette, I just had to check it out. I am not talking about going out and buying one and trying it out, but just seeing what it was.

Well evidently, it give the “smoker” a nicotine without the rest of the things in a regular cigarette. For you smokers out there, have you ever heard of anything like this?

About that commercial on TV

I was watching TV when there's a commercial popped up, at first I thought the girl there was buying a grand house for herself. An agent asked her random questions and she answered about a pink color to be painted on it. Only then I found out that they were talking about a casket and she wanted her favorite color on it, the funeral costs and how certain they are that it would be available on the day she would die.

I know that some of us are already planning They would order sometimes a casket for them, the memorial place should be in the place they wanted to be, and how much the cost of it. It is maybe advantage to plan ahead of time but for me it is just so odd. I am afraid to die but if GOD will decide for me, I don't have any choice; however talking about those things are not really my agenda.

Disconnected and Connected and Disconnected

I slept early last night because it has been so many night that I did not have enough sleep. I slept so late for this past few days and whenever I do that, it would be so hard for me to go to my dream land because my insomnia is kicking in. So last night, when I put Faith to sleep, I lie down beside her, unknowingly that my computer was turn on. I woke up around 2:00 a.m., and notice that so I immediately turn it off, but I found out that my YM was closed already and as far as I could remember it was on last night, but I didn't give any damn issue on it, it maybe some creepy things that I don't want to think of.

Later then I detected when I woke up this morning that I really didn't have a Internet connection since last night. I called my ISP and informed them about my connection, the in-charge asked me things and that he would repair it. It was repair but when I hung up the phone with him, I was disconnected again and connected again and it goes on and off for like hours and I guess until now. Good thing that my neighbor did not secure their network and I could enter their connection without any hassle at all. I am sometimes using their connection and sometimes I would get back to my ISP. I hope this would resolve soon as my Internet provider told me so, when I called them the third time around.

In getting a good night sleep

From time to time I have trouble sleeping. When I do, I just normally spend the night thinking of one thing or another and when I get up the next day, I really do not feel like doing any thing. I know I may need natural sleep aids and that might help me get a good nights sleep when I am having one of those night. I know that I take a sleeping aid, whether it is natural or not that I must read about how it works and any side effects it may have.

Meanwhile, I must just accommodate myself of drinking a glass of milk at night. They said it would help me get enough sleep. I am not a milk drinker but I guess this time I need it, since I also need calcium because I have a moderate risk for osteoporosis, that’s what the medical expert just told me when we had a free check up in the mall.

Pissed Off With The Driver Last Night

Last night right after we bough school supplies for Mj, we went ahead outside to hail a taxi cab. We patiently falling in line to wait for a cab and when there's one available for us, we immediately hopped inside the taxi. When I told them about our destination, the driver began to murmur that our place is so far and that it’s so traffic on our way there and that when he would return the mall would already be close.

I didn't react and let it pass by, but then he did not stop, he keeps on complaining of the place. As far as I know, the taxis here are coming back and forth so I don’t know why, what was he complaining to. I did not react in the taxi cab because if I did, he might do things that could harm us, they are the one controlling the steering wheel and he can do anything he want. So I just remain silent and tried not to listen to him. When we arrived at home, my bill was P135.00, and my money is P 150.00, and instead he would give me my change he just said "Thank You" so that's it! He did not even show me a gesture that he would give me, my change. And that does irritate me not because he did not give me my change but because I didn't like his attitude from the mall down to our destination. I usually give extra to the drivers but with this nasty driver, I better not. So since he would never give me my change, in a spur of a moment, I told him he doesn't treat his costumer like this and that he would not complain anything since he is driving a public utility.

I called their office and complained about the way he treat his customer, this kind of driver should be reprimanded and will not tolerate by. I was so pissed of and was so shaking so if you happen to live here in Davao, watch out for Maligaya Taxi with the body number 587. I tell you, he is the nastiest driver I've ever encounter and he absolutely give a bad image to his boss, not to mention that I am a frequent customer and a caller to their company.

And you will never go wrong

My blog followers all know how often I write about losing weight and options available to do so. One of the options I often write about are diet pills or other supplements, equipment and exercises that are meant to help us lose weight. One thing that I firmly believe is that it is important to consult your doctor before taking any diet pill. I want to lose weight, but I want to do it safely for myself and my family. I don’t want to be stuck in the hospital because I used a not prescribed pill and that harm my health so bad.

Life is so precious just to be wasted so we must take good care of it. The reason why when I fill up a form in the gym I always went to, they asked me if I have a heart failure or how was I after I worked out because they wanted to make sure that we are alright when using all the equipments there. Same as when we are taking a slimming pills we should go to our Doctor and inquire about it, and you will never go wrong.

A Glimpse of her Advance Scientific Evaluation

Mj and her classmates done a good job in their swimming, they just have their evaluation for Scientific Evaluation and they did a terrific job. Although she was destructed with her goggles, she still made it. I and my husband talked about proceeding her to proper training with the same coaches and club, but of course it still depends on our budget, not to mention that the cost was quiet high already.

Well, if we could not afford the training because of our lack of funds, most importantly she knows how to swim at all and we can leave her in deep waters without anything to worry about. Last Wednesday was their evaluation for Advance Scientific, and as I notice my daughter, she is more on freestyle than of that of backstroke.

Find A Best Quality Acne Product

MJ is growing up fast. Soon we will be trying to chase the boys away from here. With growing older she may develop acne, which is common among teenagers. And if you are like me, you were embarrassed whenever you had pimples. Products like acnepril, other scrubs and ointments can reduce occurrences of pimples and help promote clean healthy skin. But sometimes we have to be aware that some products could damage their younger skin instead of revitalizing it, sometimes if we are not careful of using creams for acne, it would lead them to allergies and stuff.

It is more advantage if we would search the best treatments especially for a very sensitive such as teenager ones. Or we might ask someone who is reliable enough for a product that we wanted for our kids to used, we don’t want our kids to be left out just because of acnes and pimples growing so huge on their faces right? So do a thorough research and find a product that has a quality for our teenagers.

Champions Train, Losers Complain

That was the text in the back of the T-shirts for swimming to be used on our graduation. On June 5th, we are all graduating for the four modules in swimming this summer. I as a parent who witnessed how rapidly fast they learned from the basic to the last one and Mj as the student who tried her best to cross the five feet deep in the pool. Now she is up to the proper training that would start maybe on July. I and the parents agreed to at least start not on June so for the kids to rest and to concentrate on the first month of their class.

I never regretted to have Mj join the Milo team this summer, this is a remarkable summer for both of us because aside from I really get well with parents out there, my eldest daughter could no longer drowned in the water. I already have so much confident in her to be at the deeper area in the pool, if she could stay at 6 feet, I am sure I can stay in 2 feet, Hehehe. Learn how to swim is my frustration; I am glad I enrolled Mj to this kind of activity.

The Abandon House

My friend and I stroll around their subdivision when I came to visit their house one day. Just when I noticed an abandon house nearby, it looked like the house was burn in a fire. My friend then told me how it was happen as we walked down to the store to get something to eat.

The parents of the kids were at work during that time and the nanny was the only one left at home. When she told the kids that she would be taking a bath, she didn't know that the kids were already playing a match and tried to light a candle in the bedroom. The nanny was still in the bathroom when one of the kids knocked in the door and said that their bed was already on fire. The nanny then went out from the bathroom and tried to put off the fire but the fire spread in the bed so rapidly so she gather the kids and went out to ask for help. The neighbors came to help but it was already late, they just tried to put the acetylene tank outside the house so the fire won't reach to the next house. When the parents came to the house, they were just thankful that their kids were safe although the house could no longer be useful at all.

They abandon the house because they don't have enough funds to renovate it; I asked my friend if they ever have a whole life insurance, she said they don't have any insurance that could help them for emergencies such as what happen. I thought if only they have one, they might have enough money to put the house up again, it is indeed better if you have something you could cling to when something happen for you and your family. But it is best if you put dangerous things in a safe place such as matches or anything that could cause fire so you will not wake up one day without a shelter to sleep on.

The Sleeping Driver

Today after we made a canvass for a small office table for the store, we immediately hailed a Jeepney to take us home. Mj was so tired from her swimming class so she fell asleep beside me, as the jeepney goes on, I notice that the driver was actually falling asleep too, the reason why our moving was sometimes awkward. We took the front seat so I was really getting worried; a thought came flashing in my mind if we could really get to our destination safe and sound.

As I could not take it anymore, I woke Mj up and said we will get down from the Jeepney; she was still so sleepy yet she did not complain. I told the driver to stop and we got down in an instant. I don't want to risk my life and Mj's to a sleeping driver.

In Order To Protect My Family

I never really worried about what would happen to my relatives when I was single. But now that I am married and have two kids, what will to us if something were to happen to me or my husband? I know my husband has a life insurance, but through his employer and on his own. I have been looking at term life insurance quotes for myself. Is this something I need for myself in order to protect my family?

If it is, then I will not be worry anymore if something would happen to me, my kids would live life to the fullest but I hope, I will not die young, I still need to be around with them although yes they will have certain amount to live with their own, I guess life will be much better and happier when Mom, and Dad is around at home.

Couples Corner : We, as Parents

I grow up without my parents so I became independent since then. When I only have Mj and I was at work, she used to be the one to take her bath at 3 years old, although her cousin would watch her from the door and guides her of what to do next. I oftentimes left her at home and be back at night after my work, it was a bit hard for both of us but I have to work full time outside our house. I always miss her smiles and laugh at home so every time I have a chance to bond with her, I always bring her outside, go to wonderland or in the mall for rides and we eat our meal together. It was not fair for her not to be always around her and I could see it in her eyes her excitement for just being alone with me.

When Faith was born, it was different because I gave up my job, I and my husband talked sincerely about it. He was also concerned about me, not working as I used to have a busy life outside. But we thought, it would be best for me and the kids to stay at home, being a mom is also a career that we have to be taken care of, it is a lifetime responsibility and their future will absolutely depend in our hands. I admit I missed working so much, but when Mj told me this morning that sometimes she would cry at night when she can't find me in our bed before, I feel for her. My eldest carry the burden of being alone and I did not regret I have resigned. Mj was so happy when I quit my job, she even told me right after I submitted my resignation that it was the best of the best days in her lives.

My House and My Store

When we moved into this house, apparently we didn't have appliances; I decided to leave those things behind in our old house. When I shopped for the things we need to our house, I must admit that it was exhausting but definitely I had so much fun, knowing that it was my first time to live separately from my sister. From knives, scissors, box cutter, can opener, strainer, spoons, fork, plates, furniture’s like dining table, chairs, dish storage, closet, cabinets, sofa and appliances like TV, DVD player, side table, electric fans, bed, those I needed to buy. Good thing that during the day I shopped in the mall was on sale, so I have some discounts from the goods I bought.

Now, I am busy again of putting up a small business, which I will be holding for a few months and soon I would turn it over to my eldest sister. And every time I am involved with the constructions, I can't help but to put my responsibility to it, I feel like I should be the one to purchase for the materials and send it to the workers. I have my eyes set on how the expenses go around and record it in my book. Although my sister said to leave the money to her husband so he would be the one to buy those materials, I just can't, more often than not I feel obligated through all the things that's going on at the construction.

That Book Makes Me Cry

I just finished reading the book I bought last week, and as usual it was from Danielle Steel entitled Once in a Lifetime. I was so indulged with the story that I almost forgot the time as I was waiting for my eldest daughter to finish her tutorial class today. There were sometimes I could not help but cry with the story, it really touches the deepest part of my soul and though my eyes were already tired but I was still glued to it until I finished it.

The story was best described of a Mom who is so attached with his deaf son that she had sent him to a school. She had argued about it with her son's doctor but later she thought it was best for him to learn from a school that he could be with kids who are the same as his. Although that means she would be far away from her one and only son and she felt deserted, she was alone and she thought of going to the school of her son everyday.

She was once a writer but she forgot all those things after what happened to her and her family, it was still so clear how her husband and daughter died in a fire. And she was sent to a hospital, giving her heavy dosage, not knowing she was already pregnant at that time, that explains her son become a deaf. She loved a man the second time again, she became so alive once and for all, she was inspired to write and even submitted one to a publisher and they bought the story after four days but her motivation to go back to the world she knew before died when the man she loved died at work. Life is tough at times and to go with the flow, she should be a tough woman too; she built a great wall for herself not to be attached to any man again except her son, the little kid whose love for her is true and forever.

Horse Riding VS Swimming

Well we know now that MJ is part fish. She loves swimming and is improving all the time. But it is too early to know what Faith likes. We know she loves the water but she cannot swim. Maryland and Virginia are considered “Horse Country,” in some parts. There are several equestrian venues located in both states. If Faith and or MJ become interested in horse riding we need to make sure they have the proper equestrian apparel. Riding lessons and participating in equestrian events might be fun for the girls and a pain in our pockets. I wonder how much exactly it would cost.

On the other hand, my eldest daughter is doing so well with her swimming lessons, if we would enroll her to a swimming club in Maryland, maybe she will be qualify since the club that she is attending right now is also based International. I hope we still have funds to continue her swimming class after the four modules she is trying to finish so it will be easy for her to proceed at my hubby’s place since I think the swimming class here is cheaper than of that in the US and with that we don't need to take her to a horse riding. Maybe Faith would like to try it if she doesn't like swimming, we will just see what she likes when she grow up.

Ruby Tuesday # 8 : Our Ruby Curtain

The only curtain that I brought from the old house was of that in the picture. And since our couch needs a cover so it won't be easily damage, I hired a sewer to make us a seat cover. She instructed me what kind of cloth I should buy but when my sister sent it to their house, she told her that it was not the fabric for a couch, it would easily get run and the cloth might just put to waste. So I decided to make that cloth a curtain and I bought a new fabric for a couch. For now we were using the new color blue curtain and the old one was stored in our cabinet yet. I would hire the sewer again next time for another set of curtains and the seat cover.

The curtain that supposedly the seat cover was on my niece background

Replacing The Old Outdoor Furniture

Sometime ago Terry sent me some photo’s of the house we will be living in when we go to Maryland. One thing I noticed was the outdoor furniture on his deck. His deck furniture is kind of old and he knows we will have to replace it. One thing he always tells me, is that we must choose these things together. I know he values my input and I look forward to shopping for things for our house with him. I hope MJ and Faith don’t decide they get to choose. Lol

PBWeekend : A 3D Movie

Photobucket

I told my niece to get up early in the morning on Sunday so we could go to church before we would go to a movie. I surprised the kids with a 3D movie, I'd been bragging about this on my other blog. It was our first time and we were so mystified, it was expensive and I think its all worth it but I guess I can't spend that much on a movie again, well let's see.

Sorry for the blurry pictures, we were just using my phone.

Do You Think I Can Dance?

I love to dance; in fact when I was alone at home during college, you could find me dancing in the living room right after I finish house chores. Only then if you could get a chance because I would probably closing all the windows and doors, although I love dancing, in the contrary, going to disco bars was not the cup of my tea. I mean what's the point of being there while you can't move at all because of a heavy crowd.

I also used to join a dance contest at the organization I attended to every sports fest. Well, we don't have any choice to say no since it was compulsory. I remember one friend she was persisted to run for a contest, though she doesn't like but she has to then later we found her just walking because she can't breathe at all. I missed dancing, that's why when the aerobics session is mixed up with Latin dancing, hip hop or trendy dance. I didn't hesitate to participate. Just today, I took a two hours session because the beat really makes you sway and gay. The instructor dances so well and we were really tempted to follow the steps, it was simple but it would make you sweat. I thought I cannot dance at all with my age, but I was wrong I still can follow the beat.

I am looking forward for a small getaway

I am here at the pool where Mj's swimming class held every morning; it has been a month or more already that we have to wake up so early in the morning. 5:30 a.m., to be exact, it's a bit odd because when Mj has school, we woke up at 6:00 a.m. I am already getting tired to accompany her here but I had fun also as I became close to the parents of some other kids here, in fact I am closer to them than the parents at school.

School class is fast approaching; their school would start their class on June 16. Thank GOD we still have plenty of time for a little vacation. I still want to go to Pearl Farm for a short getaway or Hongkong if we can afford it. But if not, maybe we just have to be contented at the four corners of our house, watching Disney Channel or Cartoon Network or HBO and leave those dreams behind.

Enrolling Faith, Would it be possible?

When we arrived home, I noticed that there's a day care just three houses from our house. So I decided to visit the place and inquire if they would accept toddler as early as two. I became so excited when they told me that they would accept enrollees as Faith age, she showed me what usually a two year old would do during class. She showed me their toys, their charts for numbers and letters, and some books.

Faith is fluent at times when she spoke some English words; she could imitate well the letter in starfall.com and with what the teacher told me of their way of teaching. I might going to try it; well I have to talk with my husband about it yet. When I arrived home I told Faith about it, and she said "Ma, school," she tried to drag me to go out even she did not take a bath yet, when I went directly to the bedroom, she cried so loud.

Couples Corner: Labor and Delivery

Mj I guess she's a month old here

Mj 3 or 4 months old with Ate Mariel

2 hours old Faith

After two days from delivery

Well, let's talk about my eldest daughter first, my eldest has not been accepted with my family when I was still pregnant with her. The only one who supported me are my friends, my best fried Janeth and my BFF Clarinda. I was just so alone at that time, though I still went home to our house but since all the people there ignored me because of what had happened I just took some books to read. I even thought I would go to the hospital alone with my bag and all that, good thing when I was about to due, they accepted me and my situation.

I was so nervous at that time, when everyone would go to sleep; I bowed my head and prayed so hard. I even called my Mom who was already in heaven long time ago, asking her to guide me when it’s my due. She never failed me though; I was sounded so asleep in my room that I heard someone whispered in my ear. I know I was not dreaming because I was really half awake at that time and guess what the voice was my Mom. She told me three times to get ready because I will deliver the baby soon, after that I went to the bathroom and then there it was a gushing of blood at the bowl. So I packed up all my things and told my sister in the other room that I would deliver the baby that day.

On the other hand with Faith, it was not a blood but somewhat small wet cotton went out from me. I don't know what it was but I know that this was it. While Mj was fast and easy, Faith was the opposite. And to the fact that the doctor already sedated me, giving me a supposedly painless delivery but it turned out to be a cesarean operation. They asked me to do a fetus position that I was really crying hard and asked the doctor to help me. I really thought that I was going to die very soon and that I can’t when my kids are not growing up yet. They need me more than anyone in this world. And I can't let them experience the way that I experienced before, I told my doctor I just can't die, they have to help me.

After the operation, I chilled so much. I can't control it, I feel like someone shook me so hard at that time. They have to put me near under a lamp so I will be heated. After four hours, I felt the pain in my wound. They told me I have to wait for 6:00 a.m., for me to take the medicine because they already gave me right after the operation and I can't have a medicine yet. And since they don't allow me to move, and they don't allow me to drink some water. I asked my sister to call my husband but my sister said she doesn't have credits in her phone anymore. Lastly I asked for a rosary to put where I was operated, they also gave me an ice bucket to put it there, still it didn't work out. Finally the resident doctor arrived and decided to inject the medicine through the dextrose.

But all the sacrifices and hardships are all worth it because I have a very two active kids. I don't think I can live without these two; they are so precious to me. A treasure that I must keep forever.

Convenient and Easy to Use

Credit cards are a valuable tool. Credit cards are convenient and easy to use. However, when considering to apply for a credit card, you need to shop around. Different credit card providers offer incentives you use.

In many cases the more you use your card the more ‘rewards’ you may receive. In any event when shopping for a credit card there are many things to consider, one is the rate on the card, the rewards program and any fees and penalties. If have or are considering getting a credit card, make sure you use it wisely, pay your bills on time and do your best to pay the total balance every month.

Ruby # 7 : Advance Beginner Final

Ruby Tuesday

Last Friday, I had to make an arrangement for Mj's Kumon as she could not attend the class on that day since their final for Advance Beginner for swimming will be on that day as well and at 3:00 p.m., her teacher told me then that Mj could attend on Saturday as early as 8:00 a.m.

On the other hand, her final went on smoothly, she would sometimes stopped when they had backstroke from the other side to the other side of the pool because she was destructed of her goggles that got loose, good thing she still got an excellent grade. I know they have to learn yet how to make a straight back stroke because they sometimes bumping at the pool, though in the long run they learned so much from their coach.

Now were up to the highest level and that is the Advance Scientific, I wish her good luck!

Can you see wearing a ruby color there?

PBWeekend : Summer Getaway with Friends and Kids

Photobucket

On Sunday, my friend Genny invited me and the kids for a summer getaway at the beach. And since we won't do much on that day, we joined the fun. The kids had a blast at the pool, and then later we headed to the beach. Faith was not able to go with us since she slept after we're done at the pool.

Just A Thought To Share This One

My husband subscribed this particular website Cebu City Today, and he received this email from them.

Why Many Western men choose to build a relationship with a Filipina girl. Some even choose to marry a Filipina. But what makes Filipino women so wanted? These are some thoughts I have collected over the years. What would you add to the list?

1. Filipina girls are renowned for their beauty.
They surely stand out among Asian women in terms of charm and femininity.

2. Filipino girls are a delight to be around because of their disposition and personality.

Since birth Filipinas are raised in a special sense of honor called Delikadesa (or Delicadeza). Delicadeza is a Spanish term which when translated in English means daintiness. It is defined as a sense of propriety, an act of being refined or delicate in tastes and manners. It is Delikadesa what gives Filipino women such admirable qualities and distinguish them from Western ladies. You will never find a proper Filipina bring shame onto herself and her family by lying, cheating, stealing, running around with different men or flunking out of school. It is one of the meanings of Delikadesa – pride in doing the right thing.

3. Filipinas are understanding, patient and composed.
Most Filipina girls would never engage in a quarrel or a loud argument simply because this wouldn't suit a real Lady. They are taught to speak politely, with a gentle tone of voice. Arguing is just not acceptable, along with public criticism. This soft spoken, quiet and understanding nature of the Filipina Ladies is the desired trait that Filipinas strive towards.

4. Filipina girls are generous and naturally caring and supportive.
The common spirit of survival has united the Filipinos for centuries making generosity and loyalty towards family a time-honored tradition. The caring and supportive nature of the Filipinas is apparent in the fact that there are no booming businesses for retirement homes or orphanages in the Philippines – they would never abandon a child or a member of the family in need.

5. Filipina girls believe in a one-man one-woman relationship.
Since there is no "absolute divorce" in the Philippines, Filipinas are raised in a high regard for the sanctity of marriage and consider it a life long commitment. Some, in fact many who marry these Filipina beauties, swear they make the best wives in the world – loyal, loving and faithful past death.

6. Filipina women put family first before money.
Faithfulness to the family is a tradition that is characteristic of the Filipino society. To the Filipina, family will always remain a great priority. Filipino women, whom many would consider as coming from a relatively poor country, view the close loving bonds of their family as their wealth. They are more willing to sacrifice career than a family.

7. Filipinas are excellent home keepers.
Filipino ladies equate domestic responsibility with being a good wife – their home is a great source of pride for them and they do their best to create a warm and loving environment for their family. For the Filipina even yelling at home would mean de-facing her home so you will probably never find a Filipina woman screaming or breaking dishes.

8. Filipinas are well educated.
The Philippine culture attaches great importance to college education. Pride in accomplishment at school is instilled in Filipinas since their childhood and female college enrollment even exceeds that of the male. This affects the social positions too. Unlike other Asian countries where women tend to be in more subservient positions, the Philippines businesses are more accepting of women performing business. This is apparent with the current Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo – the second Philippine woman to hold this esteemed position.

9. Filipino girls are religious.
The Philippines is predominantly Roman Catholic (the only Christian nation in the Far East) and it is common amongst Philippine families to raise their children in the church. So don't be surprised if your Filipina girl is more devoted to her religion than you are to yours.
10. Filipina-American marriages are more successful than American-American marriages.
An interesting fact is that according to the statistics Filipina-American marriages arranged through dating services have a lower divorce rate (about 20%) than the standard American- American marriage (about 40%). Still, the statistics may vary according to which source you use.

A Kid Crossing The Street

Last Thursday, while waiting for the tricycle to start its engine going home, a kid approach her dad who is the driver of the tricycle and asked him to accompany her to cross the highway. I didn't know that Mj was just listening to their conversation. The father refuses his daughter but told her to go to the side where people were crossing the street and told her she can just walk with them. I noticed Mj was murmuring so I asked her what was going on, she whispered to me then that the father won't accompany his daughter to cross the street and she was protesting, trying to let the father heard her murmurs. I saw the kid begging her dad because she was scared to cross alone yet her father shook his head. As I was really can't help it anymore, I commented that the highway is not safe, and he should go to his daughter to cross the street.

The driver did not listen to me; instead he keeps on telling his daughter to walk with the people who were crossing the highway. I was aggravated with the father's behavior until a friend of the kid passed by, the same as her age. And later I saw them crossing the street together. I was so disappointed with how careless her father had been. What if his daughter could not make it to the other side of the street, what will he do? Not to mention that the highway is so prone to accidents, there were kids there who were hit by a car or worst by a truck, some were dead some were alive but was already disabled.

Work Better With Original Parts

Foreign sports cars are known to be expensive to repair. And getting the right parts for them can be a challenge. Any car, will usually work better with original manufacturer parts. A Ferrari would certainly work better with original Ferrari parts. I know that when Terry takes the car in for repair, he wants original manufacturer parts whenever possible. Your car is an investment and proper repair and maintenance will keep it on the road in good operating condition.

A Friend in Need

One day when I was browsing my face book, I found a message through my inbox from a friend. She wanted to solicit us of any amount for her thyroid cancer. She was pleading for a help so she could survive, she has two kids and both are growing up. This cancer is treatable when it is treated as soon as possible but how could she keep a big amount while she has many mouths to feed at home, her husband has a work but it is not enough for her for an operation or laser. Plus, she has to attain her son's medication as he is also asthmatic.

I gave not much though but I hope it will help her to buy her some medicines. She is doing the alternative and she's hoping it will do her right. She was nearly crying when she told me her condition, my tears were beginning to well-up also. I hope she could survive or at least she could have a long life for her kids. I told her not to think her condition that much because it will just make her more depress and later I was speechless, I mean how I could advise her not to think it seriously while her health is at risk. I am really praying so hard for her, I know there's some way to get through it.

He Was Looking For A Car

My husband was looking for a nice car for me online; I was so surprised with how serious he was looking for a car for me. He even gave me some links to it, if I like it or not. This is funny because I don't know how to drive yet, I suggested it would be better if I enroll myself to a school driving first before we go and look for a car, or he should be looking first of which car insurance companies would be the best for me. I hope after Mj's swimming lessons, I will be enrolling myself to a school driving, I guess I really need to know how to drive. I am so envy with those women know how to drive and I have to learn very soon.

I am so ready to go to a school for me to learn and in that way, I will not be commuting anymore. Jeepneys are so crazy at times, they drive so unlikely fast. And if you will complain, they would embarrass you by some comments in front of other passengers. They would say you're an old fashion woman or you are chicken coward. Good thing that our mayor implemented a rule that if we find some drivers whose speed is crazy, tremendously so fast. We will just dial 911 and they would take good care of those drivers. Good luck to them, I hope they will be reprimanded that if they would be careless, they cannot drive again.

Submission Successful and an Awesome Lay Out

I guess you already notice the changes of my lay out in this page and I guess you found it so remarkably astounding and yeah I am just so overwhelmed of my new lay out now. Please bear with me I just love it so much, this lay out is a gift for myself on Mother's Day aside from my husband gift to me, I thought to change my lay out somehow so I could submit this one to my favorite paid site and I am sure you know what exactly it is.

Right after I edited and deleted some of my posts, I immediately send it to the paid site, and guess what? After two days they replied my email and said this page is all set to their company. Thank GOD I was able to transfer community without any hassle at all! Oh! Thank you Sheriff and Margie, you both are exactly the best!

And before I will leave for my aerobics session, I would like to say thank you Femikey for doing a very amazing lay out. Thank you so much girl!

Favorite Pastime

My eldest daughter's favorite pastime is swimming. She is like a fish. Her second favorite to do when she’s too occupied is listening to music. When her father bought an MP3 player for her cousin for Christmas, my daughter started to bug for an ipod, in fact she's starting to look some ipods sale in the mall. Ipods are much more than just music players, but are 9 years old too young for one? What do you think, should I get her an ipod?

Couples Corner : We're Pregnant

Unlike Mj, Faith was more difficult when I was still pregnant with her I have gone to the hospital and admitted there twice because of her, well I guess it was my fault too since I was really struggling myself to go to work every night although my husband advised me already to stop working. I was too adamant to pursue my job as an agent at a night shift. Well, I was trying to save my SSS and Phil health fees as soon I will deliver my baby.

My friends used to kid me around, they said I should name my baby after our project we were assigned to, our account name was Siebel something, so they were thinking there should be Isabelle in her name. Faith was a bit shy when my friends had to touch my tummy at the call floor, she wouldn't move at that but she move vividly every time I take calls. And gosh I don't like to enter our office canteen, it smells like a lot to me, I felt like I was so suffocated by a variety of viands the moment I was there. I sometimes have to drop by at the Jollibee to buy me some foods for the night before going to work, in that way I could stay out of our canteen. But mind you I always bought flat tops chocolate in my pocket at work.

Mj gave me signs when she was on her way out and I asked the same thing for Faith. Although not really as what I had experienced with MJ but at least she gave me a hint. I went to the hospital right away after that, even though it was really hard for me to deliver her and I believe the half of my life was already in grave at that time, when I saw Faith all the sacrifice, and hardship was all worth it. I so love my kids as much as I love myself and their Dad. I think I will never be whole without them.

I May Consider To Pursue My Studies

I am a Management Accounting major yet although I believe I was good enough of financing and balancing stuff, I still don't think I have enough knowledge when it comes to auditing. Simply because we don't study that in my major, they cut it off to Accounting 6 which only studies about franchising, partnerships, banks and all that. We did not tackle the auditing since they said we are not an accounting major anyway. I so love accounting, I don't know what's gotten into me when I first introduced with it; I was like possessed or something despite the fact that I hated numbers. My friends told me to shift my major into accounting so I would explore more but I had so many baggage's before and I really want to finish my college the soonest possible time, besides it was too late for me to shift since I was already on my third year college that I discovered I am good at it.

However, I guess it is not too late for me to try and enroll myself for energy auditing or at least pursue my studies to Accounting major. I know it would be tough for me to do that, I mean I have a two kids to take good care of first and knowing that the course I love to take, it is sometimes time consuming, depressing at that yet challenging. Well, let's see when the plans of moving out will takes place, perhaps I would consider that.

Ruby Tuesday # 6 : The Ad

My niece photography when we ate our dinner in one of the restaurant here in our place. This ad reminds me of the Internet Cafe I used to go to before; it was a horrible experience indeed. It was a fine day and I was sitting at one of their cubicle, my friend at work whom I used to be my neighbor before told me to bring the small package that her friend sent for her and she will just get it at home. I was so confident it will not lost so I brought it, I told her I will dropped by at the Internet Cafe to update my shutterfly account before going home so she said she will just go to my house the next morning. I thought there's nothing important inside the package since it is a big no no to insert money in an ordinary package through post office. When I got home that night, I found out that I left the package that I inserted in the envelope, I hurriedly called the in charge if I left something there, and he confirmed it was there.

The next day, I went there to claim the left items but to my surprised it took them a while to locate the folder and when it was finally found, the small package was not there anymore. Do you know the feeling that you are really sure that one of the staff took it by the looks and the person's action? I believe he knew who got the package so he told me he would ask his workmate where they put the package. He told me it is better for me to go back in the afternoon but when I got back, they immediately denied they got the package and maybe a customer took it. I was then asking them how an envelope could be separated with the package while the package was inside it. Well in short, I and my friend went to the police station to ask for help but still they denied it, they are pushing that ad in the Internet Cafe, that if ever something is lost inside their cafe, they are not liable to it.

I was really devastated at that time, I mean how in the world could I pay the money inside the package? But I guess what goes around, comes around because in the following months, the Internet Cafe has been caught by using fakes microsoft software. And the friend of my friend understood my situation at that time, she did not ask me to pay for the lost package.

PBWeekend : Mother's Day Treat

Photobucket

First thing in the morning yesterday, I told my eldest daughter to help me do the house chores so I could take a nap immediately because we were going out for dinner. My husband sent us money for us to celebrate the Mothers Day at the restaurant. My niece came over right after the GIMIK series ended, she never thought we would go out and eats dinner outside, good thing she has one pair of pants left at my closet.

We were amazed because the restaurant has a Wi-Fi so I and my niece were able to update and write some stuff in our wall in Facebook. And right after I ordered some foods, we got busy and took some pictures of us.

Their service was so fast, we didn't wait for 30 minutes long, which was good because a moment by, customers were rushing in already looking for tables and the waiters were running around, walking back and forth to attain them.

Come and join the fun at Pixel Bug Weekend!

My New Cooling Pad

My computer is usually on from morning until at night. I guess it is open most of the time than it is shut off, so a cooling pad is really a must with this laptop. My old cooling pad gave up already so I have to buy a new one, I'd been planning for this since then but I kept on forgetting about it. I think I really need to take some pills for me not to forget things around. Anyway, I got a discount from my Digital family once again; well I worked here before so that explains of always getting a discount whenever I bought gadgets from there. Not much though but it gave me compliments that somehow they treat me like their special frequent customer, hehe I just have to thank my friends from there who is always letting me have a discount.

Happy Mother's Day To All The Mom!

I just want to greet all the Moms in the world a Happy Mother's Day!

Being a Mom is not that easy but because we got all the smiles from our kids, our hard work during the day has been paid off. We always has the tough job because we always running around to take good care all the things at home, including of waiting for the garbage truck to collect all the garbage at home as early as 6:00 a.m., so we could throw some bags of trash. We are on duty 24 hours without day offs especially when our kids got sick. When we go to the mall, we always look for our kids stuff first without minding ours anymore, sometimes we just forget all about ourselves just to make sure our love ones got everything. We worried too much when one of our kids are not home yet, we don't sleep as soon as we know that they are fine. We are always the handkerchief when they need to cry, we got hurt big time when they're in pain yet we have to be strong so we would be a fortress for them.

Being a Mom is never easy, in fact it has never been. Our Mom has experienced all the good and bad times with us when we were still a child but because of them we learned to be a good Mom. Although I never shared much things with my Mom, I believe she was a good Mom because I believe I am to my kids, I believe she was the sweetest Mom because my kids are all so sweet to me. I am so lucky, I have kids who would always put a smile on my face, I have a little monster who always bothered me for a milk everytime I get too busy, I have an eldest daughter who would always say she would pay the bill when she grows up, I am so lucky I have Faith and Mj who would always be my princesses and who love me until the very end.

Once again Kudos to all the Mom out there!

Malware

I could not open my one blog last week because my malware bytes detected a malware on my site. And it took hours for me to figure out the host of that virus. I suddenly deleted it to my site and scan my computer for long hours. I hope the owner of the site would understand why I deleted her to my account, when my husband checked it to Norton site, it proved that her blog carried some Trojan virus.

I tried to tell the owner but I don't have any idea how to contact her, I hope someone would inform her because I don't think she knows it.

I and Faith Little Bonding

I and Faith just had a little bonding today as I promised her yesterday I would bring her to the mall. It has been a while since I didn't brought my little monster alone, it would always her and Ate Mj or with Ate Mariel. Today, my afternoon was all about her. Mj understand my motives, so she said she will just used my mini laptop, but too bad she was not able to log since the router was not set when my mini laptop was infected by malicious malware, I totally forgot the network key so I have to reset the router.

On the other hand, I and Faith went to wonderland so she could play a lot of games there, then when Ate Mariel arrived at the place. We all went to Jollibee to eat her favorite chicken; I also bought Faith a book that she puts it beside her when she went to sleep a while ago. I also bought a Michaela Wallet and we did a grocery shop as well. This has been a long day for us but I am sure Faith was having fun.
