Tummy Aches Ouch!

My eldest daughter suffers again from stomachache this morning; she was moaning and crying while she lies in bed. One of the parents told me to expect them to suffer from stomachache since the muscles are starting to stretch because they swam so hard this week for their finals. She suggested rubbing efficascent oil to her tummy so that would fade away the pain.

When we went to the mall, she complained about her throat, it was so dry. I told her to buy bottled water nearby as I was falling in line to the cashier counter. Good thing when we were on our way, she said her throat was a bit alright. I know she still have to so many things she wound encounter ahead, she must be ready for some new exposure as she would learn the different strokes. I hope she could make it.

I plan to have a make over

I'd been thinking this past few days to change my lay out. Don't get me wrong, I love this pink lay out but I guess this blog needs a make over. I want something green and the header would still fit with my theme, Mary Anne's Musings. It could be a woman writing on her diary or in a beach with a woman in the sand.

As of now I am still struggling with the thought to change the lay out though, because I value this lay out so much. Haist easy stuff could be hard sometimes. Well, my decision would depend of my funds yet and if that day would come, I have someone in mind who could do my blog lay out. I hope it won't be that expensive.

Couples Corner : We're the Best of Friends

My husband aside from my best friend is my best pal ever, I could even tell him about my health conditions. I used not to tell my siblings regarding my health or when could I see a doctor because first and foremost I am afraid to have a regular check up but my husband was the one who always advised me to go to a Doctor.

I guess even were miles apart, he feels the same way also. One time when I just delivered yet Faith and I was so down and so stress, my head was aching big time. He messages me and told me to rest at that day because he needs me. His words inspire me to live that aside from my kids, there's someone who truly treated me so special.

One day, I encounter a nasty person online, it was too long ago and it's not here in blogging. He was the one who face the person and told him a remarkable word then left. That person since then never lifted any arguments with me, it was not a long fight though, and we put a period to it.

There are many instances that I could call my husband my ever best friend and I hope and pray that we would be always and forever when we are already living in the same roof.

I found these pictures when I was browsing folders in my computer a while ago, this was taken at my friend's wedding. Indeed the time flies so fast because next month is their first wedding anniversary and I would like to grab this opportunity to greet my BFF a Happy Wedding Anniversary! I know she won't be able to celebrate with her husband yet I believe they would be celebrating the next anniversary together and with each other arms. I miss you girl and I hope before you go there, we could hang out together yet.

Stayed Late at Korean Restaurant

I can't believe we stayed late outside with the kids today. After church we went to a Korean Restaurant where my cousin has told us always, she came to see us at the church so it was not hard for us to locate the restaurant. I didn't know that all of the foods including their side dish were spicy. Well, except for the fish of Faith, the fish that we all had emptied. We ordered a samgyupsal and Korean rice, samgyupsal has to be covered by a lettuce with garlic, a certain sauce, oil and a tomato, I thought since it has veggies in it that would not be that delectable, I couldn't believe that it would be taste like heaven.

My cousin aware us that the price would be not that affordable so I was not that surprised when I saw the bill, well my cousin paid the exist of it. So I should thank her for the gesture, till next time dear cousin. Hehehe

For the love of their Mom

I grew without a mother on my side, she died when I was young but that never restrain me not to be a good mom to my kids. I always make sure that they are alright when I have to leave home and always worried when my eldest is not at home yet from school. Sometimes I have fears that I might lost them whether at church or in the mall, I guess that's just normal for a mom to feel that way, in today's cruel world, we must really protect our kids from a possible harm.

But what if someone you trust was the one who would prevent you to have your kids, or what if one of your kids had taken away from you? Would you just leave it because the one, who has your kids, is your husband? Maalala mo Kaya tonight has captured my heart again for featuring how a Mom did her best just to have her kids back from her husband who battered her when she was still living with him. Even though it was dangerous for her to go back and could have been the cause of her death, she still went to the place where her kids are just to get them.

Pyramid

Ever since my niece told me the newest album of Charice, I just can't stop looking for a video to upload it in my phone. Finally I succeeded this afternoon when I was waiting for my daughter at Kumon. And to those who are looking for the lyrics here it is and the official music video as well. Enjoy!

Shawty's love is like a pyramid (ooh)
We stand together till the very end (eh ooh)
There'll never be another love for sure (ooh)
Iyaz and Charice let we go

Stones, heavy like the love you've shown (shown)
Solid as the ground we've known (known)
And I just wanna carry on
We took it from the bottom up (no no no)
And even in a desert storm (yeah)
Sturdy as a rock we hold (oh)
Wishing every moment froze
Now I just wanna let you know
Earthquakes can't shake us
Cyclones can't break us
Hurricanes can't take away our love

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock
It feels just like it's heaven's touch
Together at the top (at the top baby), like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing
We'll never fall just keep on going
Forever we will stay, like a pyramid

Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh (ooh)
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh (ooh)
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh eh (oooh)

Cold (cold), never ever when you're close (close)
We will never let it fold (fold)
A story that was never told
Something like a mystery (yoh!)
And every step we took we've grown
Look how fast the time has flown
A journey to a place unknown
We're going down in history
Earthquakes can't shake us (oh)
Cyclones can't break us (oh)
Hurricanes can't take away our love

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock (hey!)
It feels just like it's heaven's touch
Together at the top, (at the top baby) like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing (wind is blowing)
We'll never fall just keep it going (keep it going)
Forever we will stay, like a pyramid (eh oh)

Like a pyramid girl let me show you
That I love you so much
That we gonna get through (oh oh)
Even when there's storms
I will never go, Ima be the one to keep you safe (hey)
Before was our love back it up more than enough
Holding on to one another be the cover when it's rough (oh oh)
Mother nature (hey) or disaster won't stop at happy ever after

Pyramid, keep it going (like a pyramid, like a pyramid)
Oh oh ooooh (like a pyramid, like a pyramid)

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock (solid rock)
It feels just like it's heaven's touch (oooh)
Together at the top (at the top baby, at the top girl), like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing
We'll never fall just keep on going (keep it going)
Forever we will stay (Charice), like a pyramid (what what)

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock
It feels just like it's heaven's touch
Together at the top (at the top baby, at the top girl), like a pyramid (pyramid)
And even when the wind is blowing
We'll never fall just keep it going
Forever we will stay (ooh), like a pyramid

Couples Corner : Our Days at Work

When I was still working as a call center agent, since we worked at the same time, like when I worked at 8:00 p.m., he was also at work at that time so he often messaged me through phone. And some of his message from 2007 was stored in my folder of my phone, here they are:

"Sun shines in the day, the moon and stars at night but you shine in my heart."

"Until the end of time, you will be mine to love and hold. No matter what life holds for you and Mj and Darna are my life." (we used to call Faith, Darna when I was still pregnant)

"The joy of you, makes me smile, though we are separated by miles. Knowing you are there keeps me young and I will be with you when all is done."

"In winter I met you heart, in spring our love bloomed, in summer I saw you my love and in autumn I prayed to get married with you."

Those messaged were one of the few he sent me and now since I didn't work at all, he still message me in YM and asked how was our evening and all, he also called us to talk with the kids. I just hope that this separation won't be long, we are just sick and tired being miles apart and just see each other twice in a year.

PB Weekend : Wedding Album

Photobucket

Last Friday, I messaged the in-charge of the photo studio if my personalized wedding album is already available, my wedding was seven months ago and yet I still did not received my album. They said that they were just so busy and they cannot attain all the package in one time, so I have to wait for how many before I could have it.

Well, it was all worth the wait because I just love it. They really did a good job!

Swimming Lessons Next Week

Mj is so excited for the next week adventures, who would not be? Her wishes have granted and that is to enroll her for swimming lessons this summer. I already bought them, a swimming cap, goggles, and a swimming trunk for her cousin.

The swimming organization I enrolled her is coordinated by Milo and Blue Marlin Swimming Club International so if the students were able to passed the advance swimming, they will have a chance to compete not only here in the Philippines but in Asia as well.

Mj was only up to the basics, she doesn't care if she could speed her swimming, she said as long as she knows the basic, she is grateful with it. On the other note, she has many things that need her attention for now, and that is her Kumon. She is already taking the English subject, plus she needs to practice more her multiplication from one to twelve using flash cards in Math so she would meet the standard time.

The Queen of the Waves

Yesterday, right after I visited other blogs. I told my eldest daughter to play the Barbie the Mermaid Tale that we bought the other day. Mj is a big fan of Barbie, she had some research about Barbie and stuff so no wonder that she knew, Barbie has a new 3D movie. The title is Barbie, A Mermaid Tale. She was my story teller when the movie starts, of course she already watched it the other night, and already had some glimpse in the Barbie website, she even played some games related to this movie.

My youngest daughter is I think, would follow her Ate Mj's footsteps, whenever her Ate is in front of the computer, she would climb so hard at her Ate Mj's lap and together they would giggle and smiling with the music on that website. They even danced together while imitating the danced steps of the song entitled "The Queen of the Wave" call me weird but I can't help banging my head a bit and stamping my foot with that tune as well, I can't help to say yes, I am still in love with Barbie, haha!

Adgitizing and a Message to my Friend

I just registered myself as an Advertiser in adgitize but I wonder why I can't see my button on the other blog? Where in Adgitize I could find a proof if they really have put it in other blogs? I had been visiting blogs but I don't know why I can't find my widget or I just could not see it in the other blog because it is my widget? But in fairness I can see people are coming in to this blog now, so maybe that was served as my proof that they really advertised it. I am just so confused and so new with this whole thing, if you hear me just leave a comment.

Anyway, I just want to thank you all for visiting my humble home here, it has been so long since I didn't have paid posts of this blog because I have lost my PR long time ago. I know that sucks but this blog could never survive with you all guys so thank you for keeping it alive.

Lastly, before I forget I would like to congratulate my ever friend Claire of my Rendezvous for the date interview on May 15, she just received an email from the embassy about the appointment last night. I am so excited for you girl, few weeks from now you and your husband together with my inaanak Kaegan will be together. Send me some pictures when you are not busy okay? Hehehe

Couples Corner : When We Watch Movie Together

I and my husband always shared some interests and one of them are watching a movie. Whenever he is here, he always find sometime to watch a movie with us and mostly with my two nieces, nephews, daughters and I.

The first time we watched a movie was when he was here the first time also, that was May 2007. I didn't understand much of the movie because besides it was a hard English, very slang and all that, hehehe it was a series film. Have you seen The Pirates of the Caribbean? Its a movie that is if you did not watch the part 1, you never will understand the part 2 and the part 3, so I was like asking him the whole time at the movie. Good thing, he was so patient to answer all of my questions but I still don't understand it in the end. The story was so confusing that until now even how many times it was showed in TV, I still can't keep what was really the story all about, lol.

There was one time, when I just gave birth and I have to rest at the hotel where we stayed, he was planning to watch a movie together with my niece Mariel and MJ. My niece was a bit worried when she learned I can't go with them, she said how could she communicate with my husband when she has to speak in English, lol. Well, Mj was okay; she said she could talk to her dad so well.

My husband loves science fiction movies; he loves movies that are related to stars and universe. I am not much into that but I watched sometimes with him when it is showed in TV at the hotel. But he could cope up romance and or kiddie movies, so whatever we go he goes. He doesn't complain if it is too much cartoon or too much dramatic. We even watched Roswell together when I was so hooked up with it.

Ruby Tuesday # 3 : TGIF

Ruby Tuesday

There's no TGIF here in Davao, so when we went to Cebu, we visited the TGIF restaurant. How I wish to order their special steak, the one that my hubby ordered when we were in Manila but it is just too expensive and we can't afford that yet, especially that I just finished the seminar the day before.

We just had a small meal instead and of course the Coke Zero.

My Darling Mj strike a pose because she was so full

Just chillin here, lol

PB Weekend : Swimming Pool

Photobucket
Do you want to share you weekend getaways? Just click the badge.

The kids were already antsy as to when I would bring them to the pool, they even asked me what date is "someday" since I always tell them "alright, we would go to the pool, someday" Last Friday, I told them to prepare because we would go to the pool on Saturday. I did not cook so we went to the one of the pools here near our place, emptied. It was good to know that Mandarin Restaurant is taking some orders from the place and they will just deliver it thereafter.

It took awhile for them to deliver the foods, so I and the kids decided to go swimming while we were waiting.

Beware of a so called virus

One friend sent me a notice about a scandal in Facebook, when I tried to open the link. It warned me that if I open the site, I may expose my profile and my friends profile and pictures. Good thing, it gave me a warning otherwise my computer would be one of the victims for trojan virus. My friend just informed me about the link and said that if she had sent a link to any of her friends, it was not her but it is from some people who would like to get through to your system and send you that virus.

My husband told me about opening an account in Facebook to be very careful because spammers can easily get through to your site and steal your information, no matter how discreet your profile they could hack you in an instant. Stubborn as I can be, I still sign up and even active for quiet awhile now. I mean who among us doesn't have a Facebook while it is one of the easy ways to get some whereabouts from our friends or relatives, right? It is just, some other people are brilliant and gifted to ruin the program of our computers and we just don't know how to stop them. I hope I have the ability to track them and give them a warning to stop ruining our computer lives.

Summer Saya

I was so tired after we went swimming but it was all worth it, the kids had fun especially my youngest daughter. She loves it, I bought her a floater but we didn't use it for long since she doesn't like to be put there, all she wanted to do is to swim herself. And I can't let her do that alone as she doesn't know how to swim yet so she just suited floating herself with me holding her.

We did not bring foods with us, we just ordered some lunch from there, they catered Mandarin short orders, we took our lunch after we soaked for about an hour in the pool, after lunch sister Merlyn and Faith went to the nearest beach resort and enjoyed the sands and the water from there.

Burning a Contract

I had been telling myself to send a letter for them to burn my contract in their community but I always forgetting it and now they offered some lucky charm on that house and I could not take it since it is exclusive with the other community. I thought it was offered to this house but after I finish building the project I found out that it was offer to the other house and not in this house.

Now I have to send a letter to delete my contract so my other house would never be visible in their community. And hoping they would offer the same project again with the house that is registered to them. Wish me all the lucks and the stars and moon and universe. LOL!

Hachi

I love dogs, in fact we had one when I was a little and cried so hard when he died. So every time there's a dog stars in a movie, I would always watch it in DVD or in cinema. Just like Hachi a dog's tale that is so loyal to his deceased master. The movie is based on true story the difference is that the movie was shoot in Rhode Island while it happens actually in Sibuya, Japan.

The movie started in the train station where the puppy was lost, and when he tried to locate his master, he found Parker, a professor. The professor tried to help the dog, posting fliers all over the town but it seems like the dog would stick with him forever, so even though his wife was a bit against of it, he let him stayed for a week until someone would love to own a special breed kind a dog. His wife realized it later that a pal would never be bad inside their home, so Parker and his wife, agreed to adopt the dog, then named the dog Hachi, as they found a name tag on his neck when he saw him in the station.

Every morning Hachi would accompany his master to the Train station and fetch him up at 5:00 p.m., it has been a routine for them until something happen to the professor; he got a heart attack at school. But the dog never left the place, until the husband of Parka's daughter fetch him up. The professor died in an instant, the daughter took the dog yet the dog doesn't want to move on, every day he would escape from them and would go to the train station, until the daughter give him in, she let him go. So Hachi was always around the town, waiting for his master to come home. He was always in the place where he always waited for his master and when the night comes, he would just sleep nearby, under a parked train. It has been 9 years that his master rested in peace but the loyal Hachi never get tired of waiting for his master until he dies on 1935.

You may want to read the true story of Hachiko here in Shibuya Japan. When I read it in Wikipedia sure it is differ from the movie, but the message was just right, you would find yourself crying, how loyal this dog can be. Maybe just maybe no other dog can wait for his master that long.

Couples Corner : Our Favorite Place

Every time my husband is here, the malls that we always went to are SM and NCCC Mall, well obviously those are the malls that has a lot of things to buy into, actually malls here are treated like a park by so many of us here and when the weather gets humid, malls are the place to be.

Since we are fond of fried chicken, we always dine to Mc Donalds or Jollibee, yeah I know, we just love fried chicken, even Faith here. Hehehe

PB Weekend : The Thoughts of Easter Sunday

Photobucket

It was indeed a long day for us here yesterday but it's all worth it, yes I was so tired and sore but when you know that you filled up your day with joy because of your kids and the people around you, plus you were able to hear the word of GOD, sure the day went out just fine.

I was not able to bring my camera, silly me, I forgot it when we were about to go, we were in a hurry to get out of the house because I was already starving. I and my sister agreed to have a breakfast in their house. After breakfast we all went to church. If I could have been brought the camera with me, I was able to take a picture of those kids wearing bunny suits in the mall but it was too late, I just forgot all about it.

Well, anyway, what matter is I and the kids were able to celebrate the Easter with our Almighty One, no eggs were able to hunt but our hearts were filled with so many thoughts about him. Belated Happy Easter to everyone!

They need us to pray for them too

Although Faith was so handful at the church today, I was still able to listen what the priest wanted to relay in the homily. Thanks for the toy car that her cousin brought at the church and she was able to divert her attention and not bothering us around or roaming around in the church.

The priests are the one who had given the task to tell the whole world about the good news and because of that, we admire them so much and we respect them and all that. Sometimes we forget that they are also human like us, they have feelings and emotions, and that means they have weaknesses too. Yes, they prayed for us, they even celebrate with us during Christmas Mass, during festival, baptismal and weddings, but neither did we think that whenever we would go to each of our home, they are alone in their room. It is great to be in service, I am sure when they serve people they gave it all their heart. But have we thought that they need to be prayed over too? They wanted us to pray for them so they would have all the strength and the pureness so they could relay their best the word of GOD to us.

When True Kissed Felt

These past few days, I have done nothing but to watch TV, [for me watching TV like four hours are truly a miracle to me, because you can always see me not there but in front of my computer when the kids are busy or sister Merlyn is just around]. Well after the Gilmore Girls ended yesterday afternoon, I was hooked up watching the Disney Channel with my kids today, after the many cartoons showed in that channel, here comes the Enchanted Kingdom. I never thought it was that lovely, I should have watched it long time ago at the previous house, but nah, I was really busy with doing my stuff online. Enchanted Kingdom was about finding your prince charming and since that is always the routine in the fantasy world, finding one true love was forgotten.

During the wedding of Giselle and Prince Edward, the wicked witch blocked her along the way and sent her to the world where a happy ending doesn't exist and that is the reality. But Giselle didn't lose hope, she knew her prince Edward would come to rescue her in the world that is so strange at all for her. But she met Robert, the person who taught her what real life, and the date and the getting to know stage. That somehow Giselle disagreed because when true kissed felt, no date would be done and that the next day after you met the person, you could hear the ring of a bell that instant. For Robert happy ending doesn't exist and in any prospective way Giselle taught him that the happy ending does exist

Prince Edward came for her princess Giselle but something has changed, Giselle is falling in love with Robert, who had a daughter that she loves so dearly. How could she go to Prince Edward while her heart wanted to stay around with Robert?

Couples Corner: Gestures

Gesture - means;

  1. A motion of the limbs or body made to express or help express thought or to emphasize speech.
  2. The act of moving the limbs or body as an expression of thought or emphasis.
  3. An act or a remark made as a formality or as a sign of intention or attitude: sent flowers as a gesture of sympathy.
Alright since we are only seeing not most of the time, the sweetest gesture that he has done on me when I was just gave birth to Faith, he did his part on taking good care of Faith even waking up late at night to wait for me while I was trying to let Faith asleep. He also hugged me so tight when I feel like I am getting very cold from the aircon. He would buy foods for me when I feel like just staying in the hotel and he always makes sure I was alright.

There was one time that he got here so sick, he was coughing so hard. I would always make sure that he got his medicine on time although I have to wake up in the wee hours just to give him the medicines; I still had to do that. Hugging him and kissing him while he is sleeping are the bonus, hehehe.
