Ruby Tuesday # 1: Racing Car

Just before we took our dinner in SM Cebu, I and Mj had a quiet moment at the Amusement Center; she really had a blast with the racing car that she claimed she could drive a car right after she was done with it.

PB Weekend: On our way to a friend's house

Yes, you could not see me posting an update every Sunday since I would treat that day as my rest day and my bonding time with my kids. Unless if I have some task I need to post, that is the time yet you could see an update.

On the other note, since it is Monday today and its Pixel Bug weekend time, I have to share to you what we had been so busy with this weekend.

So Full

I am so full right now, I can't even breath, the food that my sister Merlyn cook was so tempting, it was magnificently cook and I just can't resist it. We supposed not to eat dinner already since we were already full this afternoon at the restaurant we hopped in before going to the friend of Sister Merlyn to return the dress that she borrowed but when we smell the food she was cooking, we just got our plate and spoon ready and just eat that all, we just left Faith some since she slept when we arrived home.

We all had fun especially Faith when we were at Doc Tess home, she made some friends there and Mj as well. While we were talking about some stuff, Mj and our friend's son played chess. And Faith was giggling with the niece, they were seriously playing hide and seek. I could hear her laugh from the bedroom. At 5:30 p.m., we went home, my youngest daughter doesn't want to go home yet, she even said bye bye to us instead of them.

I met a new friend today

We were so delighted that the rain pour down for three days now yet we are still not spare from having black outs here as it happens again today for two hours. Good thing I don't have to deal with it at home because I was too busy outside, I sent Mj to Kumon for her Math tutorial. She skipped the two days worksheets at home because I was too tired to come over at Kumon on Wednesday so I was not able to exchange it. She had to spend more likely three hours to finish her pending assignments plus the diagnostic test for English.

Since I and Ate Julie were not able to meet on Thursday, we decided to see each other at the mall today, we were having fun sharing some thoughts and we talked a lot, well mostly the requirements she needs to bring at the seminar, she will be having a seminar the same as mine. And she would go to Cebu for that. Anyway, I know she can make it, getting that certificate is not hard at all, as long as you genuinely answer those questions.

Ate Julie is such a nice lady and I am so happy I was able to make friend with her, thanks to Grace because she introduced me to her.

Today and Later

Thank God I slept well and long last night, right after I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at HBO, I and Mj joined Faith [who slept earlier than us] to our bed. I am also thankful that it rained last night; I guess it was so heavy because I could hear the rain drops hardly pouring in our roof. As you see, we haven't experience rain here for how many weeks now.

While the kids were watching TV this morning after they woke up, I hurriedly prepared our breakfast since Faith is asking me again to eat at Jollibee, it is too early as that and she is so ready to have a taste of chicken there in Jollibee, I told her we could do that on Sunday yet though. I fried some French Fries that Faith's face was all surrounded by ketchup when she is dipping the French fries to it.

I have to hurry now yet though because it is my turn to prepare for lunch, so I could call the Kumon then we could get to shop some foods for the house and have a dinner with Ate Julie tonight.

Sacrifice For Love Ones

While riding in the cab here I am taking the opportunity to write something about today's theme for Couples Corner. Sacrifice, there are many things to describe what sacrifice is and causes why you have to sacrifice, let's say a Mom have to work so hard so she has to leave the kids at home with Nanny, a total stranger that only our faith could make us feel comfortable that our kids are safe with them, phone call every minute in the office to check whether the kids are safe and or was not crying because the Nanny did not take good care of them.

Mj grew up with just a Nanny around. I have to do that to support her needs, I have many experienced having just a nanny for my eldest daughter, some were thieves and some has a health issue that I didn't know. If only I just had a choice before not to go to work but what can I do? Nobody ever supported us before.

So when I gave birth to my youngest and my husband gave me some options, I decided to stop working. And yes it was a bit sacrifice for me because I had been working like a log in my entire life and I was used to do the same routine for a long time now but I have to leave those all behind because I have kids I needed to attain to, and I was not wrong to choose what I have to choose, because I have all the time with my kids every minute of the day.

Tummy is growling now so hard

My tummy is growling now, but I still could not stop myself in front of the computer, well this is the result of a free internet in the room. I am not using my Smart bro USB now and I save a lot of bucks because of the free connection in the bedroom. How I wish all hotels and Inns are offering such free Internet in the rooms, so they won’t go to an Internet café anymore.

Mj would love to go to the pool, I supposed not to let her since we did not bring swimsuits for her but you know that’s the only thing she could be happy with, well aside from the Nintendo and The Disney Channel in TV, I guess I would grant her request. I bought her a new but cheap swimsuit yesterday and a new dress for my darling little angel Faith.

I have to go now folks, I am really starving now. I can’t wait anymore for a minute or two. Good morning everyone and Good evening to some of you.

PBWeekend : Flight

On Sunday was our flight going to Cebu, my eldest daughter was so excited because he would get to ride in the airplane again, she was so brave looking below while the plane was already in the air. When we arrived at the hotel we were so exhausted that we took a long nap immediately.

I Miss My Baby

I am here now in Cebu and I just talked with my baby a while ago, good thing that I have my laptop repaired going here, it really helps me a lot communicating with Faith. She was calling me Mama and pointing me on the web cam, I didn't know that I could talk even without a headset with this laptop, I just found it now.

Mj is here busy playing with her Nintendo; we just ate our lunch here in the hotel we stayed, while talking with Faith. She was so busy for a while trying to mess what was in front of her, she even reach out in the webcam. She was smiling so wide and said “Ate! Ate!” when she saw her Ate Mj on the webcam, waving at her, Mj told her immediately that she misses her and she loves her. Faith answered "Ayamu" sometimes she uttered "Yabu" that's "I love you" for her.

I miss my baby, good thing I have a new video, I uploaded yesterday in the You Tube, this was at the party held at school.

Blogging Inside The Taxi Cab

Just because I want to visit other blogs today, I am now dealing with bumpy cab while typing, guess what? I survive although I can't seem to write properly because whenever I pressed one key my fingers would hit the other one. How I wish we would encounter a heavy traffic so I could type properly and that I would not end up getting a headache.

Yes, I finally bought a USB Internet this afternoon, when we were on our way to the Kumon. The reason why I was able to update this blog and wrote some assignments and Meme's such as the Mommy Moments and Couples Corner, It is really so convenient for having an Internet connection wherever you go because a lot of ideas will just come up in my mind.

I have to park my keyboard now folks as we are already near at the subdivision where we live; I'll be back later to continue my visit.

Bedtime Habits

Oh my God! I am just so late of posting the Couples Corner Meme, I am so sorry Mommy Liz it is just things just get so crazy over here again. Anyway since I could still enter my link in MC Linky I guess I could still catch up with the other day's theme.

Here we go:

When hubby is here with us, we always sleep HHWS (Holding or Hugging while sleeping) sometimes when his arms feel numb at all, he would ask me if he could take his back on me. And when he does that I would be the one to wrap my arms around him. Imagine my husband is such a big guy and I am the one hugging him tight, impossible but it’s not at least for me.

That's it for now guys, I am in a hurry again I have to take Mj to her Kumon tutorial, Oh I am so excited for her to take the English subject, yes I would add it this summer but we would still continue her doing the Math. So I want you all to wish us luck, oops not me though but her.

Eclipse Official Trailer

Well, although I was not that impressed with the New Moon of the Twilight series the movie, I guess I would still be falling in line in the cinema with the Eclipse on June. The story would be in line of Victoria trying to revenge the Cullens and Bella with packs of newly born vampires so I guess it was not that bored at all, here's the official trailer of the movie.

PBWeekend: Bump Car

I am just so curious about the Carnival that was put up near at the mall, my eldest daughter keep on bugging about it if we could visit it once a while. So I decided to take the kids there and had fun. Well, I was so excited with the bump car and I enjoyed the bumping a lot, although I have Faith with me the whole time, yet I was still able to drive with it without a crying baby beside me, well I held her close so she won't bump her head in front. She was laughing and giggled too, she was not scared at all.

But it was so sad because that's the only ride that fits her age, almost I must say because the rest of the rides were so spooky and so scary.

Cebu Here We Come

I didn't expect I need to get a certificate for me to have my Philippine Passport with my married name it, I thought making an appearance at the DFA would just be enough but nope I was wrong, so in a few weeks time I might go to Cebu to get the certificate, they don't have an agency here in our place for me to attend the seminar so I really have to fly there.

I would really have to buy a new charger for my mini laptop so I could use it when I am there, for now I have to attain my little monster who keeps on closing and opening the drawer of my table. Goodnight everyone!

CC : When we Cuddle

Now this theme makes me miss my husband more, lol. During our first meeting here in our place, we always have all the time to cuddle but when Faith is here already, she always joins us. So we can't have that mushy mushy goody at all and such, we must do it later when they're asleep, haha! Naughty me.

Anyway, cuddling is one of those important things we have to put it in mind because when you don't cuddle to your partner anymore, there should be one good reason why such? Uhmmm, not one good reason but one bad reason now if what it is, you should find it to yourself, why? And why I cannot think of anything to add what is cuddling all about, wahh I am so sleepy but I can't slipped this theme away, I must have one good post here.

So Busy This Morning

Being miles apart from my husband is not that easy, I need to manage my time carefully so we were still able to chat even I'm a bit busy. As Faith woke up early this morning I have to divert her attention not to bug me around while I was cooking, I was quiet successful on that since her favorite TV program was aired early this morning.

Even sister Merlyn is already around for her, she will never stop dragging me from the computer while chatting with Terry. She sometimes wanted me to reach something for her, wanted me to scratch her nose, wanted to sit me beside her. I respond to all that and when she won't notice me sneaking out from her, I would go immediately to my bedroom to do all my task here including chatting with hubby.

Then she came back to me again, asking me to open her eldest sister's bedroom. As I was really in a hurry to finish all my assignment here and to chat as well too, I opened her sister's bedroom and left her there for a while. After like few minutes, these are all she was busy with.

PBWeekend : Every Morning, She Greet Me With A Wide Smile

Faith is waking up so late in the morning this past few days, but maybe tomorrow it would change since she slept early tonight. Well she did not take a nap this afternoon even both of me and sister Merlyn were already asleep beside her, yet she still so busy playing her flashcards between of us.

Every morning while she just woke up, she always greet me with her smile. This morning I caught her, stretching her body while she smiles at me. That was a good day to start though, I love you so much Faith!

It's Sunday And I Am Lazy

We supposed to go to church at 12:00 n.n., but I was just so lazy to wake up early in the morning. Good thing that there was a left over from the food last night, so I finally made up my mind to move around the house, I just sauté and heat the food. The kids woke up so late too, they got up at 10:00 a.m., but they have to take a bath yet so that would be another hour plus Faith is so slow taking her foods in to her mouth.

Finally she is done now, I just finish some few tasks here and I am ready to wash the dishes from this morning. It is past 12:00 n.n., and I am not doing house chores yet, I have to get up my butt out of my computer and that means now!

Hi everyone! I and Mj had a very exhausted day, we arrived home almost 9 p.m., from grocery shopping, I thought I could use already my points for my grocery but they did not allow me because it was already past 7:30 p.m., so better to use it next time when I shop again.

By the way, finally I successfully uploaded the new video of my baby in You tube after like three or four times attempt.

Couples Corner : Honesty is the Best Policy

Well, I used to be a person that tells all what’s in my mind and what I feel. So I expect my partner to do the same thing. But maybe there are certain agenda in our lives that we just can’t tell because we are protecting the feelings of the other person in short we don’t want to hurt them. However you think it would give us peace whenever we hid secrets especially to the one we love, I guess not. In some way, we must let it out. On the other hand if it’s for the good of everybody, one must hid that secret and we must just wait until he or she is prepare to tell all things. And that must had been fixed already.

I used to be vulgar before, whatever happens in my life I surely would tell it to all my friends, but there’s one thing I learned as I endeavor life, that sometimes you must know how to keep things in your self, if someone asked what happen? Just tell “Why do you want to know”

Being honest to your partner is really a big deal, but past is past and most often than not it is better to leave it all behind than to tell it to your partner. But if being honest is talking about the present, it is another story. Because the only thing that could make the relationship work is to tell what’s on your mind and your feelings.

The Plate Tectonics

As I was so worried last Saturday of a Tsunami hitting the Philippines, my husband was there to comfort me that I should not worry because we are too way from where the sea is situated. This morning while we were chatting, my husband wrote some information about the movement of the earth.

Here's what he wrote:

I got a call after I thought Mary Anne had already was sleeping. She was worried about the Tsunami warning that was generated by 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile. I tried to reassure her that her house was safe from a tsunami spawned by that earthquake, basically do to distance and the fact that her house is far enough from the ocean and has enough elevation to avoid most any tsunami.

Well that got me to thinking, I have tutored students before in earth science and one of the lessons was in Plate Tectonics. What are plate tectonics? Plate Tectonics is a theory that describes the movement of the Earths “lithosphere” (the outermost rocky shell of the earths surface).

The lithosphere is broken up in to man plates, some major and some minor. The Philippines sits on the diamond shaped Filipino Plate and is boarded on the west by the Pacific Plate and on the east by the Eurasian Plate. If you look at most of the worlds volcanoes, they are situated along the borders of these plates. The pacific has a series of Volcanoes called the “Ring of Fire”. By clicking on the link you will see that most of the volcanoes are located near tectonic plates.

90% of the world’s earthquakes and over 3/4ths of the larges occur along the ring of fire. The next most active is the Alpide with only 17% of the world’s largest earthquakes.

The Ring of Fires is a direct consequence of plate tectonics because the plates are moving.

So what is an Earthquake? An earthquake is the shaking of the Earth along a fracture in the Earth’s crust called a fault. Most earthquakes occur along the previous mentioned plates. Scientists believe that most earthquakes are caused by the slow movements of these plates.

The Magnitude of earthquakes is the measure used to tell the strength of an earthquake. The magnitude is a measurement of either the amplitude or duration of specific types of recorded seismic waves. The intensity of an earthquake is the measurement of ground shaking at a specific location.

Fruit Salad is our all time favorite, whenever there's occasion that we have to celebrate expect a Fruit Salad in our table. Yesterday, after church I thought to make a Fruit Salad for the kids, sure they like it.

Afternoon came, my friend Claire and her family went to our house to visit. Faith had a good time playing with Jamie while Mj was busy playing some Barbie dolls in the computer.
