I Had A Nice Sunday

I had a nice Sunday because I was able to hear mass again, it makes me feel so good even though I was so sleepy in the church because I was not able to take a nap this afternoon. How could I? While the Zuma was again so tempting, I was already in the last level when I always hit the wrong ball.

Anyway, that did not stop me to make up to go to church today with the kids. This is the right time to say thank you for all the blessing that our Almighty gave me, HE blessed me a lot, with the kids and Terry's passion and love I could not ask for more. I know that we could whisper a thank you prayer wherever we want to but for me to visit him in his Holy House and to talk to him there has a lot of good impact, I am not sure if you feel this way but whenever I missed going to church, I usually feel so guilty. It feels like my Sunday is not complete simply because I was not there.

We also went to the mall to grocery shop and had our dinner in a fine barbecue restaurant. We were so full that I feel like my tummy just bloated. I really have to lose weight I should go to the gym once again.

Yay! I Totally Forgot About It

I am so silly that I just forgot my baby's immunization today, aside from being so tired of the trip yesterday, sister Merlyn is not here too. She has to purchase some things for her kids as the school class will take place very soon.

But even though, if I just did not forget all about it, I may go with my little baby to the doctor for that dosage. If not her Dad's asked me a while ago about her weight, I could not even remember it. Well, I was too indulged of our trip experience yesterday and it goes around in my mind every minute.

I was also busy with cleaning and arranging some stuff in the house and I finished that too late in the afternoon already. I will just send Faith to her doctor on Monday and I hope I could also go to my Ob-gyne for some issues I am feeling right now. I hope everything went well though.

My Favorite Perfume

I mentioned here in my previous post that I just received a nice gift from one friend here in blogger. And guess what? That is my favorite perfume from the first day I used it. I even did not share it to my niece so it will not be finished that easy.

I Can Still Remember

I never thought I had a chance to see my old school, I studied there during my first grade and second grade although it was only two years yet I have so many experiences and memories of that school.

We dropped by near the school for the tricycle that we hired to tour us around in the village we used to live before have to buy gas. That was then I spotted my old school, I can still remember the long walks through the short cut going there, I can still remember the net bag that my classmate was using as her school bag and I asked my sister if I could use that one too, I can still remember that I jumped to the old canal to catch my slipper using my umbrella, I was not scared at the strong current but what I was scared of was my sister's angry voice because I lost the slipper she just bought for me. Those were only some of my memories from that old school.

And most of the thing that I will never forget was my Dad's greetings whenever I get an award from school. He always there at the door while waiting for me to congratulate me from school to get my award, ahhh it is just so nice to reminisce the past especially when you have the chance to see it again.

My Former Phone Company

What got me irritated with my former phone company was that they were always late on sending me bill statement. I called their customer service though to give them a chance of sending me the statement right on time, the in charge said sorry and made sure I will received my notice early as possible. I thought they would do it as promise but I guess it is true that promises are made to be broken because they don't send me the bill before the due date, and guess what they even sent me that three months late.

Right there and then I went to their office and paid my dues, I filed a complaint against them as well and blurted to disconnect the phone immediately. I don't understand though because their sales force strives hard to look for customers to buy their service but they don't seem to care of their customer to stay with them for long, they just let go their customers and they don't even offer for discounts and all that.

Just Back Home

Just back home from Surigao del Sur and I am so darn tired. The highway going there is so rocky, I feel like I was being punched at my back.

Here I am now tired but happy because we just accomplished something, we nearly lose our hope to find her but she guide all the way to know where she is.

Anyway I will share that by tomorrow, so sleepy now I need to rest.

Less Safe

The class will start most probably on June 10, I would be very busy again helping my eldest daughter to prepare early in the morning will be pressure again if they have quizzes and exams and be very busy at home. What makes it better now is that her schedule will not be as early as 7:30 a.m. unlike before.

I have her carpool arranged just last week though so I hope that this carpool will serve us until class ends next year. I didn't have any problem with her motor pool before because they serve us their very best but what concern me is the highway they are taking into everyday. It is less safe than a carpool, I must admit.

Went To The Doctor Finally

I was not feeling well last night; although I slept early last night hoping that it might help me not to trigger my cough. But still at 5:00 a.m. it gets worst. I was restless all throughout the night and I just felt alright after I decided to take the anti asthma that my other doctor prescribed me two weeks ago.

When Faith got down from bed at 8:00 a.m. and called me Mama while she tried to open the door in the bedroom, I realized that Terry is already waiting for me online. I got Faith first and open my computer right after she was comfortable to be put down. Terry was worried when I blurted that my cough was hard and had hard time breathing early at dawn, he convinced me to look for another doctor so I could have the right and a newly prescribed medicines before it gets really worse.

Right after the graduation of Mj as a kiddie crew in Jollibee, we went immediately to the doctor and he gave me a Seretide, good thing that I went there before I finish the Augmentin I took two days ago because that anti biotic won't heal my cough at all instead it will make my cough worst since I already took and finished that in one week as instructed. The anti biotic was for my fever before caused by the infection.

Anyway, I feel better now and I am ready for the trip tomorrow.

I Wish To Know How To Bake

I enjoy baking and surprising my family with fine deserts and treats. Wanting to improve my baking skills I even enrolled in a baking class last spring. Though I find baking fun, I don’t always have the time to properly bake. Taking care of MJ and Faith keeps me very busy and though I want to bake for them, I just do not have the time to make proper preparations for baking.

They Kissed Again

That is I am up to always when the clock strikes at 12:00 noon, it is a Korean novela that has shown already I think last year but they put it back in the scene again just recently. It is about a girl who is so in love with her genius doctor husband, and even she is not that intelligent she strives so hard to take the nursing course and pass it so she could be with her husband at work. Although her husband is not that passionate towards her, she still knows that her husband is head over heels in love with her. So Sleepy And Yet I Have To Go

In my previous post I have mentioned about my sister, whom until now is not home yet. Well, when I just about to finish my post earlier. We heard suddenly a taxi cab stopped by in front of our gate then I heard sister Irenie calling my sister's name.

Yes, they are already here, thank God! Now we can plan to go to my birth place to get my baptismal certificate as a requirement for the church. But first thing I have to do now is to go to my doctor to have my cough check, it's getting worst everyday then get the left bag in the customer service at the mall.

I am so sleepy and yet I have to go out to accomplish these things. Thank God sister is already here now I have someone to look after Faith.

If She Will Not Go Back

My sister Merlyn had a house that she loan a long time ago when she was not married yet. Since she was not married yet at that time and the money she used for the house to loan was from my father pension that supposedly to support my college tuition fee, we as her sister own that house as well.

Now if she decides to reside permanently in her husband place and leave the house behind, we would like to save the house from for closure and if the issue would settle someday we will have that house rented.

They Found It

Right after we heard mass yesterday, we went immediately to the mall to eat dinner then to buy school supplies for Ate Mariel and Ate Mj. Thank God, that the funds I withdraw from PayPal to my bank account was already there, the money from blogging is the one I have used to buy bags, notebooks, pencils, pens, socks, and shoes. I was thankful though because I can get into the ATM to inquire and eventually get the money I have worked so hard for, I just didn't know why it was so hard for me to log into my account in the Internet. They keep on asking a new password and when I set a new password, it was so weird because they would not accept it.

Anyway, we finally bought all the requirements and the shoes of Ate Mariel, we went to the ground floor to go home but Ate Mariel suddenly exclaimed that the Magazine where Judy Anne Santos and Ryan Agoncillo entails their wedding and stuff are available in the magazine stand nears grocery store. I had been looking for this magazine for a week now, certainly if they have that magazine I would really buy it.

I got so excited when I saw it and totally forgot the cellophane I was holding, the last time I remember was that it was just in my hand. I bought the magazine then we headed home, Mariel then asked me where was her bag we purchased when we got down from the taxi cab. I immediately got panicked and said I might left it in the magazine stand inside the mall. The cellophane contains two school bags of Ate Mariel; if we won't find it at all my money will then put to waste.

I called the mall right away then they gave me the phone number of that magazine stand only to find out that it is a resident number and the person in the other line will just text me if ever her staff back in store found my bags. I called the grocery customer service again and asked them if they could go to the magazine to ask if they found the bags I bought. Good thing, the in charge said yes and went to the area. I was so happy that he said he already got the items and I will just get it there, I just have to present my ID and the receipt to prove that I am really the owner.

We Will Be Buying School Supplies

I planned to go with my sister at the beach but since I have to buy some requirements and school supplies, I decided not to. Ate Mj and little Faith went out with them while I and Ate Mariel will be heading to the mall this afternoon.

I hope that the funds I transferred to my bank from my PayPal account is already there. I tried to log in to my bank account since last night but they are requiring having me another new password but then when I registered the new password they don't allow it. We already tried numbers of password but still they would prompt it as invalid TXN password. Is there anyone here who is experiencing the same stuff? If so please let me know.

Since I can't log in to my account, I would probably go to the bank instead and inquire my funds in the ATM. I must attend the mass first since I was not able to hear mass for quite a long time now. Have a happy Sunday everyone!

The Sexy Baby Was Roaming Around

The first time we went to wonderland, Faith just stayed in one area as she was so shy to walk around. But during our second visit, she was already trying to interact with other kids although at first she just stayed in the slide.

She roamed around the whole area too; she was too busy that she did not mind me calling her at all. The time flies so fast because it was only like yesterday that I still carried her in my arms, wrapped by a white cloth, wearing her gloves and all that. I mean look at her now, she can even walk a thousand miles and be busy like a bee.

He Will Be Out Tonight

When Terry got up this morning, he informed me immediately that he will be out tonight for his workmate just invited him to celebrate their new remodel basement. I thought it was a birthday party that he is going to attend to but obviously it is not.

Terry kiddingly said that his workmate will just want to boost his new remodel basement that is why he is inviting all his workmate. Well, I will also be proud of if I accomplished something for our house because I have done anything good for my family. You might want to have that as personal purposes but you have to be cautious because in some way it might be uploaded without your permission. It is devastating in Katrina Halili's side because she doesn't know that she was video taped by her so called boyfriend at that time while they were making love, so I guess she should not just sit in the corner and be tamed all about those stuff, what she did now is the right thing, we should not let them abused us just like that.

With the guy's statement that he is not in his conscious while doing it or because he is sick and all stuff is just good lame excuses. He should be behind bars by setting a hidden camera without the woman permission. Yes he is not the one uploaded the videos in the Internet but he still has to pay of what he did and the one who sold the video as well must be executed. Well, anyway I hope this kind of hobby as they call it must stop.

This time Ate Mariel who has always been left out at home for she had to look after my nephew Yanyan was able to come with us during the fourth day of Mj's workshop. My sister Irenie supposedly want to her to join with them in her husband's company party but she did not instead she went with us in the Mall.

My decision to get a router was all worth it because I can be connected anywhere in the house. And because of that every time Terry is online, he is able to watch Faith's activity during our chat moment.

Terry had a better laugh when he saw Faith seriously looking at the commercial in TV or making fun with her two Ate. She sometimes get nearby in the web cam and smile so wide at her Daddy, she sometimes called herself "baby" while pointing herself in the web cam.

Above all, I could also watch TV and at the same working online. Bringing the lap top inside my shoulder bag is already a bonus, imagine I was able to grab one opp a while ago in Jollibee while I was waiting for Mj to finish her activity. Thank God, it is her last day for her workshop today.

Good Thing She Stayed In One Spot

Usually, when you leave the kids alone in an area with so much fun filled to do, they will not stay in one spot instead they would roam around the area. It is alright though if the area had a small space that when you arrive you will see them immediately. But with the area that Mj had her workshop is wide and had a lot of fun things to do, like Internet surfing, video games, play house and a lot more.

I thought that the workshop will end at 5:00 p.m. just like yesterday but when I arrived at the workshop area, their things were already packed up and all of the kiddie crew members are all out of sight. I was nervous a bit, thinking that Mj went out of the area to window shop since the area where they held the Taekwondo is inside the mall. But I guess Mj is responsible enough to do such like that, because I only found her in the Internet section nears the workshop area watching some teenagers playing video games.

She really know her limits, she knows that it is dangerous for her to go out of the area. As a reward I gave her the change of her allowance since she said that she had money left from the money I gave her a while ago.

Got To Go Now

Geez I just spent my time to try to comment in the you tube and did not show up, I have tried it several times but nah! It just doesn't work. And now Terry has to say good night for tomorrow's work and I have to prepare myself to enroll Mj to her new school.

I am indeed a busy Mom this week, I wish Sister Merlyn is home now so to look after Faith while I am out in the house.

In Wonderland

Last two days ago while Ate Mj was having her Wushu workshop, me and Faith went to wonderland to play. She was first amazed with one plastic horse ride in the play house; she stayed there for long until one boy who was about her age approached her.

They made friends for a little while but then when they meet up again in an area that has a lot of balls. The little boy threw her a ball all so sudden good thing that Faith was able to dodged the ball so she was not that hurt. I thought she will not mind it and will just go on playing with the balls around her. But when she got the chance to pick up one ball, she also threw it to the little boy exactly in the forehead.

Our Neighbor's House Is For Assume

I had been telling my Sister that if the house fronting our house will be on sale, I might going to grab it. They already improved their house when they are still living here, the floor is tiled, they already put an extension at the kitchen, it is well painted and most of all it is already gated. If we decided to get the house, all we have to do is to transfer and that's it.

I told Terry regarding the house but he asked about the size, the bathroom and all that stuff. Well, the house is not that huge, it only had one bathroom and two bedrooms. It is too small compared to the seven million houses that we saw last year. I suggested remodeling the house though, making it a two storey house perhaps and putting another bathroom in the master bedroom.

Meanwhile, I have to look for a contractor just like of the Phoenix Remodeling professional contractors to remodel the house so we won’t worry of how the house would come up in the future. I know some architects and engineers from the company I used to work before, maybe they could help me to build our new home.

They Will Be Out To The Beach

Kuya James had informed us that their company will be having a beach party just four days ago; I thought that the beach party will be held on Saturday or on Sunday as it is the usual day for such event. But I was surprise that it will be held today, they are already preparing foods and stuff now and it is sad to say that we can't go because Mj had to finish her workshop this afternoon.

I'd been anticipating this event to happen; I already imagined the beach splashing in my skin yet those would only be in my imagination. Mj would like to take absent for today's workshop though, she wanted to go with them but she knows she can't do that, she have to finish what she started.

I hope to follow them in the beach right after the activity but let's see as it will be finish too late in the afternoon at all.

It started with sending Mj to her workshop then I went back home to get Faith because Sister Irenie had to deliver the receipts done for the client. Mj's activity was already finish when we arrive, we ate lunch first at KFC then we headed to Mj's afternoon wushu workshop.

Just The Right Time

When my cousin decided to sell her air conditioning two years ago, I choose not to grab it because I thought I could survive without it. I realized then that I may need it when I was pregnant with Faith because every time I was home from work, I had a hard time sleeping because of the weather and it was indeed so hot at that time.

It was after I deliver Faith that Terry decided to buy us one since he knows how humid our place is especially during summer. Well I guess we bought it just the right time because it is even getting so hot this summer, Faith and Mj would feel no sweat at all!

Blogging In Jollibee

When I went out this morning to send Mj to her workshop, I thought to bring my mini laptop. I was wondering if I could really get connected and if I get lucky I would blog hop as well. After I send Mj, I went ahead to Smart Bro to pay my bills and went to my bank to deposit and withdraw too for my niece enrollment today.

I was hoping to finish my appointment early so I could go to the nearest Jollibee to eat breakfast. I guess it was really my lucky day today because the two offices are not that crowded. Nonetheless, I have enough time to open my laptop and do whatever the task that was given to me. Well, all my effort was not put to waste because the moment I open the PPP, five dollar bucks was actually waiting for me! Plus, I was able to chat with Ann for how many minutes while doing my task. I have made it quick for I have to fetch up Mj yet not to mention that the manager was looking at me from time to time because I already stayed there for almost two hours. Well, I believed they can't just throw you away in the door just like that because you use their connection for long hours; I paid my breakfast anyway although that was less than a hundred. But to feel like you are not comfortable already thinking that they might think you are already abusing their service, it is I guess to better pack up before they would tell you to do so.

I am still thankful to Jollibee though because of them I was able to grab an opportunity in just the right time. You might want to try it; I think all branches have an Internet connection for you to enjoy.

I Got Up

When I was about to sleep a while ago, my little baby woke up. She suddenly sat down in bed while looking at me with her smile. I took her and carry her again in my arms while singing her lullaby NE NE NA, I repeatedly sang the same rhymes a million times but she just pretend to sleep in my shoulder and when I put her down in bed she would open her eyes and would play peek a boo.

It took her hours to sleep finally in her slumber nevertheless I can't close my eyes at all. I tossed and turn in our bed but still my mind would like to stay awake. I might be having a headache if I persist myself to sleep so I grabbed my lap top instead and open my account. I better drop EC until I hit the spot with Go Go message in the widget.

Well, I guess I did not only hit the target spot but I also was able to grab a task from SS. So this is it I think I can finally sleep now, goodnight everyone!

I Was Late This Morning

I woke up so early this morning and yet I was still late of our schedule time to chat with Terry. You know why? It was because my asthma attacked me this morning once again. Good thing I still have my Ventolin so I took that one right away and went to the living to take a little nap in our couch.

But I didn't notice that the time run so fast, it was too late when I looked up at our clock in the wall because the short hand hit the 9:00 a.m. already. I went ahead to our bedroom to get my mini lap top from the cabinet. I open it fast and buzz T right away, there he was, and yet still waiting for me even he was already so sleepy.

We chatted for five minutes only and then he went to bed because he has to go to work by first thing in the morning. I know I don't have to be detailed how much I am so lucky to have him because you may notice that almost of my posts here are all about his love, passion, care for me and the kids.

I will set my alarm clock so I could chat with him early in the morning tomorrow not to mention that Mj's workshop would start as early as 9:00 a.m. too. So gals I have to go now and may you have a good night sleep tonight.

Mj Passed The Test And The Interview

I thought she could not make it because we were not able to review her lessons these past few days. When we went to the school, I just told her to understand the question and concentrate so she could answer it.

When she finished, I immediately asked the in charge if she passed it and so we could enroll her this Friday. She interviewed them first before they informed me that she did well.

Thank God!

Recipe's That Is So Cheap

We all know that we are having problem with our continuing economy crisis now and that by all means we always looked for solutions to deviate our budget. But this does not mean that we have to despise the yummy foods in our table however there must be a solution to have that with minimal cost.

Well, sit back and relax as I will share the recipe for today which you can buy the ingredients so economical.

Pesang Tilapia

Pesa is fish soup traditionally cooked using dalag or mudfish, but the delicate flavor of tilapia also goes well with the gingery broth of this dish.

1 small head of cabbage
1 bunch pechay
5 cups water
1 inch-long piece of ginger,
peeled and pounded
1/2 tablespoon while peppercorns
1 tablespoon fish sauce
3 medium potatoes, peeled each cut in half
1 kilo tilapia, each cut in 2 pieces

1. Wash the vegetables. Slice the cabbage into quarters. Cut off the roots of the pechay. Set aside.
2. In a large soup pot, pour water. Add ginger, peppercorns, fish sauce and potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for three minutes.
3. Add cabbage and pechay, and gently put the pieces of tilapia on top of the vegetables. Cover. Simmer for 12 minutes.
4. Make Tahure Sauce in 1 tablespoon hot oil, saute 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 diced medium onion and 2 diced tomatoes. Add 2 pieces of tahure, crushing it with a wooden spoon. Cook for a couple of minutes.
5. Serve tahure as dipping sauce.

I Have To Sleep Early Tonight

I have to sleep early tonight as I slept too late last night, you might thought that I got a lot of OPP last night the reason why I was not able to sleep at the schedule time. No it was not because of any OPP but because all of us were so excited to use the router and to talk in the YM even the other one is in the kitchen only. LOL!

Sister also slept past 12:00 a.m. because she was using the other computer and finally was able to update her blog. She did not update it for quite a while now because I was always the one using the computer but now I am sure it will be easier for her to touch her account.

But tonight since I already finish writing all the offered task and that I have to accompany Mj to her new school tomorrow to take an entrance examination. It is a must to sleep early.

I Thought It Was The Battery

On the day I received my mini laptop, I immediately charged it because there is no way I can open it since it was drained for three days. I charged it for more than seven hours only to find out that it still didn't gonna work.

I asked Honey if I have to charged it overnight and he said no because that might damaged the battery. And since I went to Digital Interface yesterday, I asked my friend about the battery of my laptop. She then told me that I should only charged it for four hours and that is already the maximum. When I went home I check the mini laptop again, unplug the charger and tried to turn it on. But still it didn't work out right, until I told Honey about my problem with the laptop and that the battery must have been damaged when it was delivered yesterday. He asked me to show the battery and guess what I lift up to the web cam? It was the charger and not the battery, Honey rapidly said that it was not the battery, it was only the charger.

I quickly checked the box again and there it was! The mere reason why it didn't work because the battery was not really installed at the back of the laptop, while Honey burst out laughing!

Guilty

Terry usually asked me before my day starts of my plans for today and I answered so quickly that I will go to church today with the kids. But geez look at that time now, it is already 3:00 p.m. and yet I did not still prepare myself.

My sister asked me a while ago if I want to hear mass today nevertheless I should say yes but then again I never said a word. I am guilty; I should prepare myself this morning so I could go to church this afternoon.

I am so so bad I should keep my promise, Lord I am so so sorry.

Know Your Neighbors

When Mj was one year old, I sometimes send her to our neighbor on my way to work when her nanny went home. It was a bit hard to entrust her because she would cry so loud when I was about to leave him with my friend. I sometimes get worried but I have to leave her to them so I could work. I guess I was still lucky because the neighbor that I usually sent her was my close friend. I know her and her family personally as I always went there when I was still in college.

Being a Mom, we always do our best to protect our kids we may check all the people that surrounds us and the neighborhood. It is better to be cautious than to regret things in the end, we never know that there are some sex offender that we must avoid to or report for. Know your neighbors, is the best thing we could do to protect our kids from these villainous sexual deviants.

Weaning Your Child

I was alarmed when I was doing my rounds here a while ago that a one year old baby could cause ear infection if she still drinking milk in a bottle. I asked Terry to search for the tips on weaning your baby with little fuss. And this was what he found out at Parent Time website.

• Give your baby a plastic cup to hold and play with from an early age—3 to 6 months. You're setting the stage for drinking!

• By the time your child is 8 months old, give her a sippy cup for use during one meal. Don't fill it up, but let her drink some juice or milk from it every day. Start with one meal each day, and after a week, add the cup to another meal. Don't get rid of the bottle all at once; gradually substitute the sippy cup over time.

• Teach your child how to handle the cup by showing her. Hold the cup for her at first, so she only gets a little liquid and can practice drinking without choking on it. Cups are different from bottles, and your child needs to learn cup-drinking skills with your help.

• Don't throw the bottle away completely. Sometimes, children need to bottle for sleeping or quiet playtime. Let an occasional bottle comfort your child. But once you've substituted a sippy cup for any feeding or snack, don't replace it with the bottle. Keep the bottle for special needs.

• Don't rush. You may get your child 85% weaned, and worry about giving her a bottle at night. (Once your baby has teeth, bottles for napping or sleeping should only have water; milk or juice can cause tooth decay). Sucking is a primal instinct; children sometimes need to suck to feel soothed. Don't throw out something that can help your child feel secure; some children may use bottles occasionally for three years after weaning, and that's okay.

My Little Love Bug Is Still Sick

She has been coughing since last night and she woke up with a cough too early this morning, her Daddy is so worried and so I am. I am doing the best I could to attain her needs like medicines and stuff but it seems never work.

Because of her cough and congestions she slept too early this morning with stomach empty. She didn't even touch her feeding bottle and even her bottle last night was not finish. She is still playful though but I hope this calvary would end so soon, I can't bear to see my little love bug sick.

Rotahaler, Augmentin and Some Other Stuff

It is almost two weeks now that I had been taking these medicines that never in my wildest thought could I ever take. Especially the Augmentin, the tablet is so huge that if I have any choice I rather throw it up than to intake it, not to mention that it is 625 mg. Lol I even cannot take the 500 mg before but do I have a choice? That is what my doctor gave me; well I guess it is better than the inhaler that cost P1, 500.oo.

In the Philippines, if the woman is pregnant they usually given a variety of vitamins. In my case, I was not given any of it because Terry bought vitamins that has all such as iron, vitamin c and the like, with only one take I was settled. He knows I really had hard time taking numbers of vitamins in one time. And from the first three months down to nine months, that is the only vitamin I took, I didn't only throw up but I save more yet.

On the other hand, I am starting to get better though; I am seldom using the rotahaler now unlike before that I have to use it every four hours. I just have to finish the remaining tablets and I'm all done, I wish the asthma and the rhinitis will not go back for decade at least.

Balance Spending And Saving

To make my expenses clear, I always have a note with me so I could tally all the expenses day by day. But I stopped doing it because it is sometimes so hassle and difficult in my part especially at night when I made a final summary of how much I spent during the day.

Anyway, that would help me to remember my expenses somehow and it help me to control spending some unnecessary things. The article I read a while ago proved me right and now I would like to share it with you.

Step 1 Flesh Out Goals

At the top of your list of money goals should be an emergency fund. You will need at least three to six months of your income to fall back on to get you through a downturn. Next, list your long-term big ticket dreams -such paying off a debt, buying a car, financing your kids education. Then write down more immediate personal and household needs and wants that you hope to purchase within the next six months.

Step 2 Aim to Save

Put 10 percent of your monthly gross income into a general savings account where you can grow your emergency fund or a retirement savings account.

Step 3 Track Spending

Real Quick

Faith's body clock has been change! If before she would wake up at 7:00 a.m. now she woke up at 10:00 a.m. and that's the most. She had almost 11 hours of sleep all through out the night.

Every time she got up every morning she would go down from the bed immediately, yes she knows how to get down without falling at all. So even though we were like sardines in bed I prefer her to sleep with us because she can sleep soundly and much longer.

So guys have to go now! I have to attain my little love bug here, she needs to take her breakfast very very soon.

My Dream Car

When I was in College, there were two good things I ever dreamed to have, first was a house which I successfully acquired it through a Housing Loan and a car. I always impressed when I saw women driving their own car, hitting their steering wheel and had fun with road trips.

I dreamed to drive my own car but with today's continuing crisis, buying a car is least priority because there are things we need that we should attain for. Got The Perfume From Weng

When Weng called me to inform me that she is here already, she then gave me details how to identify her in one of the restaurant here in Davao. The moment I arrived at the restaurant it was not difficult to me at all who was Weng because she quickly called me and smiled at me.

We didn't feel any awkward at all because she welcomed me with chit chats and introduced me to her sister and two friends whom at that time was there too. Then, she gave me her present from a contest the contest from Mommyko.com and her own gift too! Perfume and Lip Gloss from Victoria Secret. And the chocolate bars are a bonus!

I was not able to have a check up today because the Doctor would be in at 3:00 p.m. yet and since I have to go home right away before noon for I have to buy a medicine for Faith's runny nose. I decided not to wait for the Doctor and headed home quickly.

When I arrived home, Mj and Faith greeted me with hugs and smiles. Faith later on sneezes and coughing already, I have a medicine for her runny nose but not on her cough. I might send her to her Pedia by tomorrow.

How To Avoid Swine Flu

I just want to share of Terry's email this morning, oh how he is such a sweet guy; he never failed to reprimand me of things especially swine flu is spreading all over the world. I heard one guy was detected in the airport thus he is under treatment now in a certain clinic. I hope he will get better.

Anyway this is Terry's message to me in the email:

One morning we just woke up with a lot of water in the kitchen floor, when Kuya James checked where the water came from, he found out that it is from our sink. While I was doing my task a while ago, the light suddenly went off. I thought that the fluorescent bulb from where my computer situated just needed to be replaced. But when I checked the other lights, those did not function as well.

I thought we experienced total black out again but then I realized that the computer is still on and the Internet is still running. Grrr it is the fuse again! I thought to wake Kuya James up on the second thought, it might be better to tell him tomorrow since he needs to rest for work.

Now I am working with total darkness around.

I Was Always Interrupted

My two sisters were so up to on winning lotto, the reason why they are always searching for results in the Internet and because of that I always been interrupted with my blogging tasks whenever they want to know the results from yesterday. I understand them though; I mean who would not want millions of prizes when you hit the winning numbers.

But with mega millions lottery results directly in your phone, I will not be disturbed at all. You just have to sign up the membership form in the web site and check the term and agreement box then voila! The winning results would be send in your phone right away. I will tell them the good news later, Oh la la I can't wait!

Been Absent For Few Days

You might as well noticed that I did not update my blog here and my other blog it is because I am really too darn busy here plus Mj got a high fever yesterday, we immediately went for a check up and the Doctor gave us five medicines for her fever, allergies, cough, runny nose and for her tonsillitis.

From morning till afternoon, her fever remains 39.2 C, some red spots showed on her skin. I was worried it might be dengue but the Doctor is certain it was not. The red spots are allergies that caused her high fever.

Thank God her fever subsided last night, so I am here now back to blogging.

We Just Have To Remodel It

When we were in Drifters Apartel during Terry's vacation here, we saw this house one night upon looking for a taxi cab for my two sisters who will be leaving for home. It is for sale and Terry like it, well he actually like the subdivision though; it is quiet and safe because it is guarded 24 hours.

We talked about the house the other day if we choose to stay for good here but unfortunately I disagree of living on that house because I just don't feel good at it. I guess it was vacant for a long while already, some speculations are running in my mind about the house, like ghosts and the not like ours being. I know I was acting weird and as what he always says there's no such thing like those, he suggested to might remodel the house to make me feel better.

During Workshop

This is the first and only picture she has today in the workshop, because I thought I left my battery in the camera only to found out that I put it in the pocket of my bag. Since the in-charge told us already to wait for the kids in the area they provided for the parents, I was not able to take more pictures at all.

I have to go also to the bank and pay my Smart bro too, so I decided to just go back when they are done. When I arrived at Jollibee I found Mj playing with other kiddie crew while waiting for me. She then broke me news that she found some friends and the activities during the workshop.

I thought to bring some burgers to the people left at home, I actually bought four yum burgers and you know how much I paid? It was only P90.00 for four burgers, isn't that amazing? Yes, I got discounts from Mj's workshop, I just have to make sure that Mj is with me when I buy foods from them and that I have to present also them the membership card.

When The New Baby Arrives

I thought that Mj will get jealous when Faith came to our life but she's not, instead of being jealous she even help me out things and take good care of her little sister at times. I know that some Mom's out there are not as lucky as I am. There were cases like our Ate and Kuya's cannot handle the fact that the little sister will need much attention than them. Although we cannot avoid such thing, we can help them cope with the new baby invasion.

Here are some points to help our Ate and Kuya to welcome the new baby in the house:

• Bring out his baby photos - You can tell him stories of his own birth and his improvements and adventures in the following months. That help him imagine of things to look forward when the baby come out. You can also try to make a book for the new baby together:ie: Bundled up at the hospital, drinking milk, sleeping in your arms, playing with a rattle, sitting in the stroller. Then attached it in a scrapbook and let him put some decorations. When the baby comes out, he can add new pictures of his little sister or little brother.

• Count down to the big day - But it doesn't mean you're going to break the pregnancy too early; nine months are too long for a kid to remember it all. You may give him due dates like after Christmas or When you start school, in that way that is something he can get easy. Then a month before the big day, you can hang a calendar and cross off days. Pick a few days from each week and have a small activity with your little toddler. For instance: Help Mommy buys baby bottles, listen to baby's heartbeat so on and so forth.

• Prepare the little kuya or little ate a bag too - On baby's arrival and you have your bag packed, you also must spare a bag for him too. You can put coloring books, disposable camera and let him take pictures, cell phone cards so he can call all the relatives about the big news and candy or junk foods he may like to eat during hospital visits.

Geezz I Am So Darn Sleepy!

This is what I like of going out so early because I have to prepare and have to get up early as well. I am already not used with the life I had before when I was still working in Digital Interface, our office starts at 8:30 a.m. so I have to get up around 5:30 so I won't be late and I can still do things at home.

But now, it is already so hard for me. But I have to wake up otherwise we would be late with the orientation and Mj will not be included. She looked forward for this to happen anyway I might just sleep in the taxi cab going there.

Steak At TGIF

When we were roaming around Mall of Asia to look for a place to dine in and since we accomplished something for that day. Terry had called it a night to celebrate; he was looking for a fine restaurant that we haven't dined before, definitely a restaurant that is not found in Davao.

There were many restaurants we have seen and when he saw the TGIF Restaurant, he immediately drag me and the kids to go down so we could have a dinner since we are already starving.

He then informed me that TGIF has the best steak ever compare to other restaurants. And it is indeed true because ever sine I tasted it, I always think of it and actually craving for the steak now. Uhmmm, how I wish I could go back there again.
